Wonderful
I don't typically write reviews so take this as praise for this saw and customer support.* Takes a little to learn how to start this saw, this is my issue. After that starts most of the time starts on the first pull.* It's heavy so use the shoulder strap provided* When transporting it take it apart or the joint will break because the shaft is heavy when fully extened* Customer support is jaw drop responsive. They identified what I parts I broke and quickly sent me out replacments.

Couldn't be happier!!!
I recently purchased the MAXTRA Pole Saw Gas Powered, 16-Foot Reach 42.7CC 2-Cycle 10-Inch Bar Cordless, and I am thoroughly impressed with this product. The pole saw has a powerful 42.7cc 2-cycle engine that provides ample cutting power to tackle even the toughest branches. The 16-foot reach allows me to access high tree limbs with ease, making yard work significantly more convenient. The 10-inch bar and chain cut through wood quickly and cleanly. I was able to complete all my pruning tasks with this pole saw in no time. The cordless design is also a major plus, as I don't have to worry about cords getting in the way during use. While the pole saw itself is excellent, what truly stands out is the exceptional customer service I received. I did encounter a minor issue with the product, and I reached out to the MAXTRA team for assistance. I was connected with a customer service representative named Milka, who was incredibly respectful, knowledgeable, and helpful. Milka listened to my concerns, quickly diagnosed the problem, and provided a swift resolution. Her professionalism and dedication to ensuring my satisfaction were truly admirable.Overall, I am completely satisfied with my purchase of the MAXTRA Pole Saw Gas Powered. The quality of the product coupled with the amazing customer service experience from Milka has exceeded all my expectations. I highly recommend this pole saw to anyone in need of a reliable and powerful tool for their yard work.

1.5 Believable Horse Power Beast
I decided to take a chance and purchase this pole saw. Of course it is of a name brand I have never heard of before and claims of one and a half hp seemed as a possible sales pitch.Out of the box, it assembles easily, I fueled it up, plug the pole sections together, assemble the chainsaw, head oiled the reservoir on the chainsaw and greased the head. Then I fumbled with the on off starter switch which truthfully seems a little flimsy, but seems to actually operate OK. With the prime in a little choke, the motor started right up idled nicely. After dropping probably 20 nice limbs from a nice height, I had consumed only about 1/3 of a tank, and all of a sudden it seemed as if the chain had jumped off of the cutting bar. Upon inspection, I realized the chain was still intact and spinning freely. however the motor was no longer driving the cutting head. I disassembled the head from the shaft, and as the picture shows the shaft was twisted clean off in the socket of the chainsaw cutting assembly.Obviously disappointed I contacted the Amazon distributor who has promised to make things right. I will wait and keep fingers crossed to see if parts arrive.I must say if this was just a defective shaft, and the promised new shaft can actually hold up to the horsepower of the motor I believe this saw might have been a good investment, but that remains to be seen. It cuts well, and has plenty of horsepower to get the job done. Now I just hope the distributor will stand behind the product and the promises.I’m not sure if I will be allowed to add to this later on, I hope that is the case.To be continued, if possible, I hope.UPDATE:I am happy to report a new chain saw head assembly with pole section was delivered yesterday. Looking forward to swapping out n getting back into service.I am going to request a parts listing for future maintenance to keep in service.Good Saw for the money!!

Great power but weak components
When I put this saw together and started it, it started right up for me, unlike other reviews. The saw is heavy but granted the rotating head adds more weight due to the design needed to rotate. It has really good power and I had no problems cutting through larger (6-8") limbs. I did experience the bar "chattering" or hopping, which is mostly likely due to the rakers on the chain being too short and allow the cutting teeth to take too much (you experience this with chainsaws if the rakers are filed down too much). I did need to go through and tighten the throttle handle screws as the whole handle was loose and slipped along the shaft. The throttle and throttle safety had some issues where the throttle would stick at an elevated RPM even when I would fully let go of the throttle. After cutting for less than 2 hours, the chain stopped cutting. Upon inspection, the splines on the internal shaft where it connects to either the extension pole connects with the cutting head, had twisted and snapped. Well, I removed the extension portion and just use the pole with the cutting head at this point. About 5 minutes later, the same thing happened on the main pole; the splines twisted and snapped. The internal rotating shaft splines where the pole/shafts connect are not quality metal and eventually broke rendering the pole saw useless. I am currently working with customer service and the vendor for a refund. Before it broke, I was excited with this saw with the power output it had even despite the weight, however, with the weak internal shaft, I would not purchase this saw again until they figure out a stronger shaft replacement.
