What if the adhesive weakens and one of the unit falls? Then it will keep on ringing till the battery drains disturbing the neighbours.

i can yes because i bought 4 units out of them only 1 is still working on a door, 2 units adhesive got off after 15 days, another 1 was a failed unit which was rinining even though power button was off and it became useless, i kept the 2 pieces attached so the ringing stops unfortunately the cost was very high 2 years ago and its non returnable and no replacement its better to find other kind of alarms rather than this
