You would need transfer tape (I use clear duck brand shelf Liner). I guess it would work on mugs.

Q: Is this truly the metallic?

It has a metallic sheen. It is not like glitter. A good place to see the vinyl is Michaels. But better price on Amazon.

Q: Would this be Dishwasher safe if applied to a cup?

To the contrary, the 751 does fine on ceramic or painted metal. I've run it through the dishwasher dozens of times with no issues.

Q: will this product adhere to a textured aluminum pop up camper body? If you think not, what if a heat gun is used?

I would think so! Adding a little heat would help for sure!
