High quality, high performing solar lights,
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. These solar wine bottle lights are great. I’ve tried the ones with only 10 leds, these are much better, brighter, sturdier, longer lasting run time. Since I seem to have an inexhaustible supply of empty wine bottles, I’ve started giving sets as gifts to family & friends.

Unfortunately, these all failed within a few weeks.
When these light strings were first used, all but one seemed OK (one was just DOA and never worked) but they did not last at all. They were left outdoors only to charge on dry clear days and brought back indoors at night, but one by one they all just stopped working. I'm an electrical engineer and I took some apart to see if there was a problem with poor soldering that was preventing the solar cell or the on/off switch from having a good connection, but couldn't find the problem. I recharged one of the batteries in a NiCd charger but it didn't work for long. Might have been a bad batch of batteries. I finally gave up and ordered a different style from a different vendor within Amazon and they have been working OK.I don't doubt the other reviews that have had good luck with these lights, but my experience was not good. I've recycled them all. Keep in mind that with solar charge-up produce like this, the rechargeable batteries inside are considered hazardous waste and should not be thrown in the trash. The batteries should be removed and brought in for proper recycling to your local hazardous waste day or to a business that is a call2recycle-dot-org drop-off location.

Update.... Beautiful bottle lights
These are great lights. The extra rubber sleeve that slides over the plastic cork make the seal very tight so basically waterproof. The lights are bright and beautiful and last about 6 hours although a couple of them last only about 4. Sometimes one or two of the lights don't light up but I think that is due to the tree branches, leaves or shade blocking the solar panel. I put them in colored bottles so they are beautiful in the daytime as well plus it adds color when they are lit.UPDATE 4/28/21One month after my initial purchase I wrote the seller because the two lights I had issues with out of the box stopped working. The seller offered me a complete set in bright white instead of warm which I had because they were out of warm, I accepted. So here we are 11 months later and only 3 of 16 still work. They just started dying one by one right after assembly.I love the look and the idea too bad they don’t last. Luckily my bottles are colored so they still look nice at day!

So pretty
I guess I really like these because this is the third time I have ordered these! I have been giving these away as gifts, all I have to do is drink the wine to have bottles to put the lights in. Everyone who sees them asks me where I got them. I saw just one of these kind of lights at a craft store and it was $10 each. These are a great value! They have been on our patio for 3 months now, and they work great every night!. They make our patio look magical

Great lights....
Love these. Full sun charge lasts all night into the morning. Fits nicely in bottles. Tested one on bottle during a very rainy week with no problems or leakage if water into bottle.

Terrible battery quality
This was a waste of money and I wish I had used them enough before the return window closed so I could return them. They worked exactly for 2 days (or rather nights). After that, they started to blink, which means that the battery could not fully charge. No matter how many hours I leave them in direct sun, seconds after turning them on the lights start blinking. Looks like the batteries cannot hold a charge.

Can't read by it but noticeable from a distance. Great for outdoor ambiance
This is my 'go to' for many of my diy solar lights. I put the provided rubber cork on with loctite go 2 glue and I put the glue where the wire comes out of the solar panel bottom. Haven't had any water issues. I do this because the wire is ok with being hit with some water, the connection between the wire and solar container is not. The descriptions of the product explains what is fine with/with out on the water issue. Only had to replace one after 3 months of use, curious people problems NOT item problems.

Great dining table or patio decoration....whimsical fun appearance!
Easy to wind into a wine bottle, with lots of length and number of lights. You can also twist, wind , dangle on small indoor plant, allowing bright south facing window sun to charge the solar panel and battery. Fun appearance! Eight of these for the price is very very reasonable. A real barging.

Great exterior mood lighting
Did up several bottles for the outdoor dining table. Lighting provides just enough brightness to set the mood, but isn't too bright so as to be “in your face”. Ensure you place these lights directly in the sun (not simply near a source of sunlight) in order to fully recharge them.

Add life to any garden
These little lights have made my garden looks so wonderful I’ve made many garden things to attract at night for people to see how beautiful these little lights glow I have one in a watering can and it looks like that the water is dropping over the flowers I really enjoy them

Good luck
Looks good. While 2 out of 5 (I only put 5 outside) were dead in first week.

fantastic. I will probably buy more
The batteries come already charged and they look beautiful inside various pretty bottles which I would have gone into recycling bin otherwise.
