I like the ramp to mix water with pigment and the well for the pigment itself. It's smooth for mixing. The only problem with this is that the whole thing is unstable. Like a wobbly table in a restaurant a wedge is needed underneath a corner to stabilize.

Well made of white porcelain that cleans up beautifully even when using staining watercolors or inks. The compartments are big enough for one to mix color or when loading Chineses watercolor to the middle of the brush head. BTW the bottom is mostly glazed. Only certain edges are unglazed, as any other common plates.

I love this palette. Painting from a ceramic palette is the best way. The palette sections are spacious for mixing, the paints mix beautifully and the palette is a breeze to clean

This is the perfect size palette for many of my small projects. I really like ceramic much more than plastic. I use a white ceramic plate for my botanical projects. The clean-up is so easy.

This is a great palette very easily cleaned and of a very good quality "White" ceramic for accurate pigment mixing.

What I like about this watercolor palette is, it is roomy enough to hold a lot of colors and water and is easy to clean
