Is this cup dishwasher safe?

I use a dishwasher with them infrequently and no problems. They claim to be dishwasher safe.

Does this come in a box/sealed, or just as is?

Thanks for the question. Yes you could do the threads for the lid are internal around 10mm down from the opening. So it is usuable without the lid.
