NOT for SYRIAN hamsters!
This is a well made wooden maze for DWARF ha!stars or small.mice or Gerbils. There is NO way a Syrian hamster will fit. It is made of wood, with no sharp.edges, and has a clear plexiglass/ plastic lid so you can see your pet as they navigate the maze. If I had a smaller hamster, I would be thrilled with this product.

At first I thought it was too small but.....
The media could not be loaded. This ended up being ok for both my gerbils and my dwarf hamster. I doubt if a syrian hamster could fit, but for gerbils and dwarf hamsters it is great. My dwarf hamster especially uses it.

Fun Times
My hamster took right to it! I would say it is suited for the smaller hamsters, I have a Russian dwarf hamster that fits through the holes just fine. I threw bedding over the top to give him more privacy. It is simple to clean, the acrylic top slides in and out for easy clean up! This will definitely last my hamster his lifetime!

A bit tight for a gerbil
This product is high quality, but is a but small for my gerbil. He likes to nap there, but not to run around. It would be perfect for a small mouse.

Terribly Made
The first one I received looked like the wood had been chewed on in several places and the interior was glued in place so no rearranging could be done. I received a replacement and that bottom was coming apart and again the interior couldn't be moved around well. Very disappointing.

A lot of fun for rodents
I got this for my daughters 3 white mice. They fit great through the openings. The plastic cover is removable, which makes it easy to remove the mice and clean out the poop. Pretty solid mental stimulation for the mice
