Great set. Hard to read in low light.
I would have given this 5 stars if it was not black. It is quite difficult to read in lower light. Well let me rephrase this. If you can read Chinese it’s not bad. If you need the little numbering in the corner in red, it’s hard to read in low light. I got this for travel and to teach my non Chinese friends how to play. All in all a great set. Very pleased. Only wish it had a light version so it was easier to read.

Great, though red color is dull
I love these. Really the only drawback to them is that the red is fairly dull, so if you are relying on the indexes you will have a lot of trouble in lower light. On the other hand, that makes them good for weaning people off of using the indexes because they are there as a crutch, but not so easy to read that you don’t even look at the Chinese characters.

Play with friends but friends told me it’s to hard to read the numbers

Fun game but hard to read tiles.
The black tiles were really hard to see. We ended up using our cell phone flashlights. Fun to play though!

Did Not Come With Racks
Lovely set, more attractive than standard white tiles; but inconvenient as this did not come with racks

it is smaller than the normal size mahjong
I love the black tiles, its smaller than the normal one, but just as good, i didnt like the numbering, i wanted only the chinese words.
