I can't find the answer to this question. Exactly how does the mop attach to the pad? It looks like it just rests on the pad.

After you wring out the mop, lay the pad down on the floor, the white side will be facing up, place the mop head onto the white side and push lightly. There are strips on the bottom of the mop head that act like velcro, but not as course as velcro. The mop adheres to the mop head quickly, easily and with very little pressure. It stays on until you pull it off, using the tab to clean the mop. Hope this answers you question

Does this mop handle have a hook on the end of it to hang it up in the closet?

Definitely yes, It has a hole in the end of the handle to hang it on a hook. If the hook that you are going to hang it on is too small for the hole in the handle you can put a metal shower curtain hanging hook on it .... then you can hang it almost any where.

i usually get this wet under the water faucet,its very convenient,and u can also put it in the sink.

What are the washing instructions exactly?

You can wash in warm water- I let mine dry flat. It is a great mop wet or dry
