SkechersWomen's Max Cushion-17690 Sneaker

I loved the old Skechers Shape-ups, not because of their ability to tone me as they had once claimed, but because of all of the cushion/support they had in the heels. I had several pairs over the years. I have heel spurs and wear orthotic inserts, but my feet still appreciated the extra cushioning they offered. After Skechers stopped making the Shape-ups, I was able to continue to find pairs for some time on Amazon. However, the price became ridiculous from the few remaining sellers, so I decided to try some newer Skechers.I selected these Skechers Max Cushion because of their look and ratings. Unfortunately, I do not like them nearly as well as the Shape-ups. I normally wear my prescribed orthotics without the liners that come in the shoes. One thing most people won’t care about, but the liners in the Max Cushion shoes are firmly glued down. It was extremely difficult for me to remove them without damaging them so I could try them on (without the liners and with the orthotics). The Max Cushion shoes were the same size as my Shape-ups, but were too tight for my orthotics. I returned them and ordered a wide. The wide fit, allowing room for the orthotics. However, I noticed the heels did not offer the same support/cushioning that the Shape-ups did. So I put the shoe liners back in, placed my orthotics over them, and loosened the shoe laces. The wide shoes actually fit over the liners and orthotics. However, these Max Cushion shoes with their liners and my orthotics still don’t offer the comfort the Shape-ups did with my orthotics alone. I miss the Shape-ups!

I love, love, love these shoes! I'm a seasoned RN with really bad neuropathy on my feet. My closet is full of different sneakers and clogs that were comfortable for about 6-8 hours but could not provide support or comfort for a 12 hour shift. These provide comfort and support thru a 12 hour shift and beyond! They are well made and the color is deep and rich. I wear a sise 8 in athletic shoes. I ordered a size 8 and they fit perfect. I also love that they are a prime product, so easy returns.

These shoes are amazing! I always have problems with my feet swelling and hurting so bad after being on them for only a few hours. I did some research and found these shoes, I needed a really good shoe to support a 5 day trip to Universal studios and Disney world. These did the trick!! Absolutely no feet pain or back pain from being on my feet for 12+ hours 5 days in a row with non stop walking and standing. Highly recommend!!!!

I occasionally stand on hard floor for long hours at work and was in search for shoes that would provide a good cushion for my lower back that would start hurting after a few hours on feet. To be honest I was never a fan of Skechers because they were usually too narrow for my feet. But I gave the Max Cushion a chance and purchased 6.5W, which perfectly fit. To my surprise, my lower back didn't hurt on my first day in these shoes. These are the first pair of shoes that do not hurt my back. I'm giving 4 stars for lack of arch support. Yet, my feet still feel good and my back is happy.

Love these shoes! I had surgery on my feet last year and had plates put in and these really help with walking again!

I really miss the Skechers shape-ups so I tried this shoe. When I first started wearing the shoes I didn’t like it. There isn’t much of an arch support. I continued wearing them and it seems like they are fitting better.

Shoes are very comfy to walk in, but the toe box is a little narrow. I don't normally wear a wide shoe, but I should have ordered a wide fit this time. Great shoes though.

I am out of work for 12 days or more.Sprained my AnkelShoes are a little awkward to wear.I won't by them with thick souls.
