Simple and Effective. So far so good.
So far so good. I was able to fit 3 big winter jackets in one and 4 regular jackets in another. I probably could fit one to two more in each. I recommend thin hangers to maximize space, but may not be essential. Overall seal seems to be holding after a few hours hanging, although I am noticing it is not compressed completely by the hanging mechanism at the top.I do wish I had the option to purchase one size or the other, rather than both sizes. But overall, I’m happy with it.

Great product
These work great...used them to take just a carry on when I went to Hawaii. I was able to pack what I needed but not have to check my bag...these bags saved so much space in my luggage.

Appear to be better in quality than Space Bag brand.
I bought these to replace my Space Bags (now owned by Ziploc) because most of my Space Bags quickly and easily cracked and leaked.*I only have two complaints:1. One is not a big deal - it's just that the bags are not marked as what size they are, so if you are looking for a certain size you have to stop and measure it to know which one it is (unless you're really good at eyeballing size, which most people are not).2. My other complaint is that one of the bags had an instant leak due to a defect in the valve. I fixed it with a piece of Gorilla Tape, but I should not have to do that with a new item. I know this can happen from time to time but it should be caught in the factory (I could see it easily before I even tried to use it) so I took away one star for poor quality control.I used these to pack up emergency GO BAGS for each family member and the dog, with blankets, pillows, clothing, meds, food, and other essentials. This way all essentials are packed and ready to go in case of an earthquake or tsunami (very possible where I live), and they are all stored compactly with no worries about bugs, mold and mildew while in storage. And of course these bags will be just as useful for basic storage or travel.Highly recommended. But, if I find they leak over time or crack easily while being handled (like the Space Bag brand often do), then I'll come back here and update my review.~~~* I think these Space Saver bags are thicker and a little more pliable and so don't expect them to crack and leak like Space Bags do, but I realize this is difficult because any bag of this kind must be made of stiff plastic in order to hold in air and lock out moisture. Bags that are too soft and pliable cannot hold in air and block out moisture due to the way plastic is made. And the softer the bag the more chance there will be a chemical reaction with the contents, which can cause a yellow or green caustic film to attach to anything inside the bag. It's all pretty complicated, but having worked in an industry that used plastic storage bags regularly, I learned these things. So, my experience tells me this product should hold up much better than Space Bags brand by Ziploc Ziploc Space Bag, Flat, Large, 3 Count. One last note - if you're going to store something of high value I would make sure it is first wrapped in a protective covering that is not made of plastic. I suggest a cotton sheet or plain acid-free paper. This will insure no chemicals from the plastic will leach out onto the item over time. If you have questions about possible chemicals in the plastic I suggest you write to Spacesaver Corporation and ask about it.

Extra large bags that are functional.
These bags were larger than I had expected. I also found that they were harder to seal than I expected. They did work as they were supposed to.

Works as promised
These were very easy to pack and use with my vacuum. I couldn't get the hand pump to work so I tossed it. It's been a few months and they still seem airtight.

Travel bags: Shrinkflation/false advertising
In a classic case of "shrinkflation", SpaceSaver has redefined what "Large" and "Medium" mean without telling anyone. I bought the roll-up travel pack because I was trying to replace a SpaceSaver travel bag I'd used in the past that fit just perfectly -- so I really wanted the 28 x 20 bags. Amazon's description doesn't give sizes for the travel bags, so I went by the sizes on the packaging in the picture, which showed the set included 4 Medium (28 x 20) and 4 Large (24 x 32) bags. So I thought "perfect!" and ordered them. What came instead were 4 "Medium" bags (24 x 16) and 4 "Large" bags (28 x 20).See what they did there? So the new Large is what used to be Medium, and the new Medium is ... well... smaller. And instead of having 4 bags that are the size I need and 4 bags that are even bigger, I now have 4 that are the size I need and 4 that are smaller. Since I can't use the smaller bags, I'm essentially paying twice the price.Worse still, in digging through the reviews, I see someone else pointed this out over a year ago, so this is not a new thing. Unfortunately, that review is buried among thousands of other reviews, and it's not helped by the fact that the travel bags and home-use bags (for comforters, etc.) share the same product page on Amazon. But clearly no one has seen fit to update the photos or description.FWIW, the same photos are on SpaceSaver's own website. We called their customer service to see what explanation they could provide, but the number goes to a third party call center, who promised "someone would call us back as soon as possible." I'm not holding my breath. Instead, I'm returning these bags -- on principle as much as anything else -- and ordering something different.I realize this sounds like a cranky old man kind of review (guilty as charged), but the combination of shrinkflation and false advertising is really annoying.

Saves Space when Needed the Most
I business and personal travel a bit and hate trying to use large suitcases when I can pack what I need for a few days in a carry-on size bag. I was on a trip when I realized that I needed a couple of spare bags to pack clothing and a small blanket that I purchased. The product performed exactly as I expected; shoved a small blanket in a large bag, two new pairs of shorts in a medium bag, rolled them up, squeezed them into my carry-on bag.Do keep in mind that one downside with any roll-up bag is that, if you care, you will want an iron waiting where you are going. With hotels, this is usually never a problem. I do like having my pants and shirts looking crisp and not wrinkled up from the bags. However, it is worth it when I think about the time I would have spent packing a large bag, checking it on an airplane, waiting for it at a carousel...
