AUKEY Car Phone Mount [Strong Suction] Windshield Dashboard Car Phone Holder Anti-Shake 360 Degree Rotation Compatible with iPhone 11 Pro Max/11/XS Max/XS/8 and More

I wanted a phone mount that wouldn't block my a/c vent or my back up/side camera screen. I was able to find the perfect spot in our 2017 Odyssey where it wouldn't block either and it's in a great line of sight for navigation.I thought this was a suction mount, but it does have adhesive to make it stick and then the suction is what helps the arm stay still when you move it around. Luckily, the adhesive could be mounted on the plastic part under the screen and not the dash itself. I was worried with the FL heat, adhesive on the dash might ruin it. But I'm ok with it on the plastic part.It works perfectly for my husbands iPhone 11. I have an iPhone 11 Pro Max with case and a popsocket on the back and I can make it work. I pull the popsocket out and use it to hook over the top of the mount and then clamp down the sides. It's too thick otherwise. And even though my phone is heavy (they are much heavier than an 11!) it stays still.I'm very pleased with it, mostly because it's too hot in FL to have anything block a vent!!

So far so good w this holder. I was skeptical about using the base w adhesive - directly on my dash but, my Durango has “dimpled” surface - so its the only way.I applied the base by itself at dusk, allowed to setup w/o attaching the holder for 24 hours.It works excellent!! Im very pleased w sturdiness and ease of taking phone in/out of it.It looks nice and seems to be well built, ive had it for 2-3 weeks - in direct sun 85 to 95 outdoor - no issues or signs of glue breaking down.

With this car phone holder, I can either put on my dash or mount to my windshield. I mount it to my windshield since it’s easier for me to look at my phone gps while I’m driving. It stays in place and does not fall from the windshield. The suction cup is sturdy. It hold very well on glass. I very like the way it holds my iphone 7, very secure. So far there is no incident that my phone slip through the holder. The clamp hold my phone securely. And it can be adjusted with a single button on the bottom. I can rotate my phone to any directions I like. When I bought this holder, I had little expectations but turn out, it’s perfect. I am able to place the car phone holder exactly where and how I want it in my car. It is pretty easy to use, reliable and consistent. I would recommend this over other expensive ones. So far I am happy with this car phone holder.

Good mount overall but has two MAJOR issues.1) the way the mount attaches to the arm does not allow for sideways adjustment when the mount is at its lowest position. Hard to describe without actually using the mount. Basically, when the mount is angled below the dash (like it’s intended to do) the swivel hits the mount and won’t allow for an sideways adjustment.2) The release button is so slow it’s comical. I don’t understand why this isn’t one of those releases where you press the button and it pops open. It takes 4+ seconds to get my phone out of the mount. Why?The suction is great and the angle is great. It’s a very good idea but needs a few improvements. Aukey historically makes great products but this one can be better. I’ve seen others complain that the arm has lost its “hold” after a while and the phone becomes flimsy on the mount. While I haven’t experienced this yet, I can definitely see how this would be possible.Overall, I wanted this mount specifically because I didn’t want my giant phone obstructing my view. While this mount has some pros, it certainly has its cons. It’s worth a shot to purchase but keep in mind there are some shortcomings. You might be able to do better.

I already wrote a glowing review of the prior version of this one previously but I had to buy another for my wife. She loved mine so much she kept bugging me to get her one. This one showed up as an upgraded version of mine and so I bought it. I personally prefer the previous one a bit because it is just pure magnetic suction. However, this one is great because it doesn't require you to put a magnet on your phone. It has the cradle hands thingy that holds it well. It's still getting five stars b/c my wife loves it and also because the suction on these bad boys (both models) are great and work tremendously well. There is a reason this one has great reviews. You won't go wrong with either - I think it more depends on what type you like - just clean small strong magnet to hold or a cradle to hold your phone. Both work great and it's more of a matter of convenience.

At first the mount worked great, but after a few weeks of regular use the mount became loose. The mount would only attach to my window and not the dash, but it managed to stay secure on the window. However, the swivel head that holds the phone would tilt downwards anytime I went over a small bump in the road and eventually just stopped being able to hold my phone up. I have an iPhone 11, it's not the heaviest phone out there but I was surprised that it only took less than a month for it to stop being able to support its weight. I wish I could return it, but its too late. And the warranty that Aukey says it has on the mount only applies to the devices and accessories that you buy directly from them and not another party like amazon :)

I had to return this as it was completely worthless in regards to what it's supposed to do. The adhesive was useless and did not work from the get go I was completely disappointed as anywhere on the dashboard of our 2017 Acura MDX was not a good fit. Im not sure if the dashboard was too curvy all over but I could not find a good place to install it. Id save your money on this and akip it, purchase a vent mount instead, trust me.

Good suction to affix the device to the dash, and the fit for the handset is secure, however do note that the arm on the device has a lot of flex, which means the handset bounces in the mount while the vehicle is in motion.
