Beautiful color, whole butterfly pea flowers as pictured
Good product as described. The butterfly pea flowers are whole and dried.Got this mainly for the ‘natural food coloring’ effect since I can use it in various recipes/drinks. I love ‘real’ tea but I’m personally not a huge herbal tea/tisane fan. The flowers are beautiful and produce such a rich blue color.Instructions say to steep the pea flowers to desired color; the lighter photo is only after pouring the boiling water, and the darker photo is after steeping for only a minute. If you want a lighter color, probably use less flowers to water ratio.Scent and taste are what you would expect from dried flower tea LOL.Price was very fair compared to similar items.Seller was responsive when I asked about any additives since some of these blends sneak sugar or stevia in. This is just pure unadulterated butterfly pea flower tea.Would purchase this one again.

blue tea good
boiled at low temp. tastes good. added a pinch of sugar. teas should be made at correct temperature. i liked 160F to 180F for this blue tea. drink about once a week for a treat. i believe if you add one drop of lemon juice it turns purple.

LOVE IT!!
I love this tea. Not only has it helped me with relaxing and taking things one day at a time. I have found myself having more energy and also no acne breaks out. I usually crave sugar before my cycle and as of this month I have not experienced anything. I also feel as if this helps with my fasting. I have two cups a day, one in the morning and one in the afternoon.

Looks like the photo but smell isn’t great
the color of dried flowers was blue and green. It didn't look brown but the smell of it was somewhat unpleasant. It smelled like dried flowers.. lol it is dried flowers but it didn't have any good flower scent. I realized that it may be just for the colors. Not for tea. I didn't want to drink it.. so I added this to my handmade soap but surprisingly it worked.

Fun with Science
We added <1 T of the flowers to 1C boiling water. After 3 minutes, the color was very dark blue. We strained the flowers, and re-steeped them in a fresh cup of boiling water. Once again, we got a very dark blue color. On the third try, the resulting color was medium to light blue. The flavor on all these extractions was a very light herbaceous note, with no bitterness, similar to a mild camomile tea.The color did change beautifully from indigo blue to brilliant ultraviolet purple, when we added lemon or lime.

Beautiful Tea!
Amazing value and fresh! True to description, you get a lot of tea for the same price as other vendors and quality is great. I made a beautiful purple hue tea for a brunch I threw for my friends and everyone was so impressed. Since you get so much in the bag I’m looking forward to trying blue tinted muffins next.

Don't Buy 'Em For Flavor, But They Pack A Punch On Color
I've made tea for use in cocktails a couple of times now and they are the bomb for providing a deep, bold indigo color and are a great resource for having fun w/ color-changing cocktails (the tea changes color in the presence of acid).
