I’m hooked on this little beast!
I’ve been using the Swiffer Sweeper starter kit, and it’s a total game-changer! This 2-in-1 broom-mop combo is so easy—dry cloths snatch up dust and hair like magic, and the wet ones blast through grime in minutes. Works great on my hardwood and tile, no mess left behind. It’s lightweight, perfect for my tiny apartment, and assembly’s a snap. Only bummer? The cloths can get pricey if you’re cleaning a lot, but they’re worth it for the convenience. No buckets, no fuss—just a quick, solid clean. I’m hooked on this little beast!

Super Convenient But Upgrade to Reusable Pads
If you haven’t heard of the Swiffer you’ve probably been living under a rock. That said I had never owned one until now. We recently swapped out our carpet floors for bamboo so we needed something easy to clean it with that wouldn’t take up a ton of closet space. I guess all the commercials worked because I gravitated towards this mop.It shipped quickly, was easy to assemble (didn’t need the instructions), and it’s easy to maneuver around. The handle doesn’t extend or anything but I’m ok with that. Also it comes with a few disposable dry pads and a few wet pads. I’ve given both of them a try and I think the dry pads have more use in day to day life but honestly the pads are the weakest point of the mop. Super convenient but not the best at actually cleaning. Also maybe it's just my sensitive nose talking but I found the wet ones to be really strong fragrance-wise. They worked well, but the smell just seemed to linger and I wasn’t really a fan of that. It seemed to dry fast though. That said I quickly realized how expensive these pads are to replace, especially if you use 5-6 pads during your weekly cleaning session like I do.So instead of buying another pack of refills, I ended up buying a set of reusable microfiber mop pads that I can wash and reuse from Amazon. If you search reusable swiffer pads on Amazon you can likely find them, they are the green multi-surface ones with the white straps on the backside.Anyways, they work great with the swiffer. The size matches and you can put it on easily with the velcro. The only thing is that they’re not pre-wet (since well, they’re more of a cloth) so you have to use it with a separate bottle of cleaner. I just ended up using white vinegar and water, spray the whole rooms floor in like 30 seconds and then get down to business.I will say, however, that the swiffer is not designed for heavy scrubbing. I mean, you could probably do it but honestly for spots that need that kind of cleaning, I just go on my knees with a regular cloth.A list of pros and cons:(+)- The swiffer is compact and very lightweight- Easy to set up, you can start using it within minutes- Doesn’t take up much space in the storage closet- The mop is really cheap so I’m not worried if one of the kids breaks it- It comes with all the stuff you need to use it right away(-)- The handle is kind of flimsy and not extendable so you might have to bend down- Refill pads are kind of expensive but you probably already know that- The mop head isn’t very big so it might not be best for larger areas- Wet pads have a very strong fragrance that lingers after cleaningOverall…I am still pleased with the purchase. It's not perfect but then again I didn’t expect it to be anyway when I bought it. For under $20 (not including the refills that you have to get), it does the job well and I’m satisfied with the results. Plus with how light weight the mop is basically anyone of any age can use it. If you’ve got kids or elderly parents in the home this is probably one of the better options out there.

Very Good!!
There is no strong smell of alcohol, and it is easier to remove the alcohol wipes. The mop is also very easy to use, and some corners can be easily wiped

Great for Light Cleaning on Hardwood, but Handle with Care
I purchased the Swiffer Sweeper 2-in-1 Dry + Wet Floor Mop to make cleaning my hardwood floors easier, and it does a great job for light cleaning tasks. The dry and wet pads work well, picking up dust and leaving a fresh, pleasant scent after mopping. It’s especially convenient for quick cleanups without having to break out a heavier mop. However, the mop itself feels a bit fragile—you can’t apply too much pressure without worrying about it bending or snapping. It’s perfect for light use, but not ideal if you need to scrub tough spots or apply extra force.Pros:- Great for quick cleanups on hardwood floors- Leaves a fresh, clean scent after mopping- Easy to use with both dry and wet padsCons:- Mop is somewhat fragile—can’t handle heavy pressure- Not ideal for deep cleaning or scrubbing tough stains

Good product
I have used this produt for years. I finally had to replace my old mop because the mop head was no longer holding the pads. I find this an easy to use affordable product.

MUCH better than the older version
Somehow I managed to lose my Swiffer (have the wipes but the “stick cleaner” was nowhere to be found after decades of keeping it in the same closet). It might’ve fallen over and may be hiding behind the 2 halves of a Balsam Hill Christmas tree stored in separate boxes in two closets. Noticed who purchased it said the handle wasn’t sturdy enough for heavy duty scrubbing, etc but none of the past ones were either & I ‘ve never used them w/a lot of pressure on the handle. They’ve improved the wipes considerably & turned out it was good that I couldn’t find my old one as I much prefer the new wipes, The thick hardwood, kitchen flooring, etc wipes can hold a LOT of hair and dust. I broke an Arcoroc glass when it slipped out of my hand in the kitchen yesterday…tons of shards & various larger pieces scattered over the entire kitchen floor (they tend to “explode”. Vacuumed what I could yesterday and the Swiffer arrived today. Hoping it picked up all the very tiny glass shards. My dog’s fur is very fluffy so I plucked furballs off of the edge of the wipe several times & a few pieces of dead crickets that were on the basement floor and kept on Swiffering. I ordered the pet wipes but haven’t used them yet.. Since my back’s been bothering me I ordered a new one vs bending over and checking behind boxes in one of my storage closets. I’m usually very sensitive to perfumes&other “smells” but the scent was pleasant and not strong enough to didn’t trigger anything. Used one thicker cloth for 1st floor & basement floors.. My almost 1.5 yr old mini Australian Labradoodle has very fluffy fur and isn’t non-shedding as promised so found quite a bit of his white fur on the Swiffer wipe along w/some of my own long hair & plucked it off as I went on cleaning w/the same wipe for 1st floor & basement. Not much isn’t carpeted upstairs. Haven’t used the wet cleaning wipes yet but hoping they r just as good. Bought the Swiffer mop but rarely use it.
