Great for my herbs!
I’ve had other self watering planters and the black insert in those barely sat on top. So they were constantly popping off whenever you touched them. So I took a chance on these. I am so glad I did! These are by far the best self watering containers I’ve owned. I currently have my herbs in them. This works better than a single planter for me. I can separate the herbs that like to be on the wet side from the ones that like to be on the dry side. Then I can control how much water each gets. It’s great!

inner container not to size to the outside container, bad manufacturing.

No wick included
No wick was included so the inner pot is just sitting above the water and not actually intaking any water up into the soil. Worthless!! There are better self-watering pots that include a wick so buy one of those instead and avoid this brand!

Perfect for the plants (even the outdoor ones)
Works well mostly but sometimes gotta jiggle the water meter as it gets stuck sometimes.
