Easy to install and easy to use
Mine has been in use for about 2 months, I am using in my shed that does not have electrical power connection. So I wanted a simple, easy, method to keep my riding mower, tiller, and another battery charged. This device was inexpensive, simple to install and use. So, as long as the device continues to operates for several months then the 4 star rating is appropriate.

Defective. Would not charge battery.
Product was defective. Contacted seller and provided pictures they requested. They agreed it was defective, offered and gave a refund. Surprised they did not offer replacement. Maybe they were not surprised it was defective.

It doesn't charge with Renogy 100 Watt 12 Volt when this panel products 20v. This controller stops when voltage is over 14.6v to 16v.My old HQST 30 Amp PWM Smart Solar Charge Controller with LCD Display works well with Renogy 100 Watt 12 Volt and it isn't stop to charge over 16v from panel.
