I have 2 cats and vacuum my house every week. I used to use one of the handheld metal carpet hair remover tools and crawl around to get hair out of the carpet that my Dyson left behind. A friend recommended this to me to save my back and OMG. I am so sold on this product!! The picture is from just a 3’x3’ area of my carpet and it pulled up SO MUCH HAIR. My carpet looks so clean! It is definitely a bit of a workout for a large area but you don’t need to put much pressure into it at all. Small quick strokes works perfectly. I haven’t experienced any issues with the handle bending like other reviewers, but again, I am not putting a ton of pressure on it (you really don’t need to with this tool). My only issue is that the handle unscrews a little during use so I have to stop and screw it back in periodically but that’s a minor issue. Even my teenagers like to use it, which is saying something. It’s very satisfying to pull up all that hair. Highly recommend!

Works much better than expected. It gets ALL the hair out of the carpet that even the shop vac didn't pick up. They should make this into a vac attachment. Highly recommend.

I had the small Lilly brush for my car and then decided to get this tall carpet detailer when I could literally see everything my Dyson Cordless Pet vacuum was missing. Layers of fur (Pyrenees and Terrier) on my low shag area rugs; so annoying! Lilly grabs EVERYTHING. Excited to shampoo my carpets without the machine clogging from vacuum-missed fur! I will only be purchasing these products from here on out.EDIT: cheap metal on the handle; used less than 10x before it started bending — not sure what else works as well for grabbing my dogs fur though

If you have thin carpets like me, you should consider getting it. It’s cheap and does exactly what I want it to do. I’ve had this for a few years now. In that time I’ve had a husky and cat live in my house. It’s worth it! I’ll sometimes unscrew the base to use as a handle tool for other items. I recommend to go in a short sweep motion so the debris wraps and bunches on itself.

I use this on all my carpets. The amount of things that come up are wonderfully disgusting. Cat hair, human hair, general dust. My driveway is sandy, so that also comes up. Makes vacuuming much easier and cleans more deeply.

Big fan of the lily brush been using in cars for years. This one works well however the handle is flimsy, and in order to apply pressure needed to remove hair the handle bends. Needs stronger handle or at least US Acme thread pattern to replace with another handle. 3 of 5 for this reason

I am embarrassed to share this review, but I could not believe how well this worked on my carpet. I have 2 long-haired dogs who shed like crazy. I also have a big, heavy Dyson vacuum that I thought was doing a pretty good job on my carpets. The photo I attached to my review is what the magical Lilly Brush floor sweeper pulled out of the carpet AFTER I HAD ALREADY USED THE DYSON. I have a couple other Lilly Brush tools which are fantastic, and this thing is no exception. My only very minor complaint is that I think the handle could be a bit longer (I am 5’7” and it just feels like it could be a bit longer) - but for results like this tool delivers - I will deal with that minor inconvenience. I highly recommend it.

Oh my goodness, I finally found a product that works on my high pile area rugs! With a constantly shedding German Shepherd, dog hair has just become an accepted part of our decor. Even with two Dyson vacuums, multiple attachments, brooms, and every grooming implement that my poor dog will tolerate, the clouds of hair settle into carpet, furniture, under everything that has an, uh, under… We just kind of accepted it as the way our life was going to be. Then I found this tool! After vacuuming my bedroom rug it still had a ton of visible dog hair, so I attacked it with the Lilly brush. Oh my heck. Shocking. So much hair. Piles of the stuff came out! It looked like the rug hadn’t been vacuumed in a year! Amazing! It’s so satisfying to use, and even though cleaning isn’t my favorite job, this is just instant gratification. You do need to put a little effort into it, which is kind of obvious (some folks seem to think they should just be able to float the brush over the rug and magically remove all traces of hair, lol) but not any more than, say, mopping a floor. Super product and well worth buying.
