This whole kit is well made. Even the yarn. And it’s enough yarn to darn socks for many years. I used it one year ago to darn my socks and the socks have held up really well through lots of wear and washings. They are stronger than even before! This kit is easy to use, and gets the job done!

The set is as advertised, things work as expected, quality is fine. There are tons of great colors in there, but how is there no black yarn? I missed checking that before purchasing, so definitely not the seller's fault. Wouldn't black be the most common color needed when darning socks and such? Some "normal" colors would be nice.

The mushroom is cute, but its very small size makes it uncomfortable to hold for any length of time. Work surface is also too small: Cap should be larger, and handle should be longer and thicker, for a grown-up to work with! I ended up buying a sieve mushroom.The yarn and needles included in package were nice though.

Determined to keep a favorite pair of socks, I decided to try my hand at darning. I watched a couple of YouTube videos and was able to repair my socks pretty easily. So I tried repairing a few other things. More tutorials suggested a darning mushroom for ease. This one has been so handy, makes repairs so much simpler. It's cute and sturdy. The floss and needles were a useful bonus. This was totally worth the money.

Ever have those rips or tears that there really isn't enough material to sew back together? Use this and "create" what you need with thread or new material. Great value and everything you need to make repairs.

I was looking for a mushroom darner to mend a pull in a new shirt--this kit had needles, embroidery floss and the wonderful little darner!!This little darner was just what I needed!! and the needles will go to use for knitting and other crafts==great buy!!
