Yes they are very easy to assemble, no tools required. It takes about maybe 2 minutes to assemble, with instructions illustrated on the boxes for you to follow. These boxes are ideal for holding old term papers and books. I use them to hold important paperwork, past tax returns, and medical records. I would suggest that you buy plain manila folders to hold your documents in, which can be purchased at any Office Supply store. I personally bought the 4 box set, which has helped me organize all the paper documents that I have accumulated over the years. If you want to get organized, I would highly recommend these Banker Boxes.
