It works. That's why I gave it 2 stars. The lack of the other 3 stars is based on the following: it doesn't work all the time; when the 'virtual' buttons don't work I resort to the original way of using the actual top part of the screen but I've noticed that this screen protector makes the top corners of the screen much much less sensitive to touch so it's very frustrating in those times when the bottom virtual buttons don't work and then I have to press down super hard on the top corner of the screen to get it to work. Otherwise it's nice but more frustrating than useful.

Not perfect, but usable.
This a decent, more importantly innovative product. Before a week ago I didn't know such a thing existed. I read reviews and for $11 I figured why the hell not. It's been on my phone for about 10 minutes and thus far these are my observations. Along the top of the screen touch sensitivity is reduced, about the top 3/4's of an inch. I need to press with just a little bit more force than I did in the past and it works just fine. It is a bit more difficult to get to your pull down menu, though unlike android, I hardly ever use that function where as it is a staple with my Edge+ and every other android I have. Secondly, I have seen the phone registering random touches on other parts of the screen, usually highlighting text for a split second or something like that. Thirdly, and this is the fun part, this works as designed, a semi firm press to the bottom left or right of the screen and it realiably triggers the upper buttons, I've moved my favorite apps to the top right of the screen and this serves as a short cut for me. It's quite useful. All in all, it isn't perfect, but as it stands now, I see no reason to complain given the extra flexibility I have with my plus now. As big as my hands are, this has made everything more reachable with one hand. It's $11 people. Try it, if you hate it then move on. This is a good product so far.Update: Cannot disable the flash when using the camera. That portion of the screen does not respond. Have to take away a strong here as that is a major nuisance. The companies care team reached out to me regarding this review, they offered to send me a replacement in the event the original unit was defective. The replacement they sent was not the same as the original as it had circular markings on the glass at the bottom on both sides. While the original was flawed, the replacement did not work AT ALL as far as the smart buttons go which is why I gave this item a shot. I peeled off the new one and tried to replace the old one, but the adhesive would not seal a second time. Now I have NO protection for my screen, and will need to look at other options at my own cost. -1 star. Thank you for reaching out to me, but I'd be lying if I said I wasnt better off before the exchange process.

Pure magic
I was a skeptic but for $8.99 it was worth a try. If nothing else, it a screen protector. I got it and opened and it looked just like any other glass screen protector. Ever when back to Amazon to make sure I ordered the right one. Put it on and it works great. I'm someone when uses both Apple and Android, so I'm use to the back button on my Nexus. You do have to touch a certain area next to the home button and there is no Visual indicator, but with my muscle memory, it works every time. Love it. It's a definite buy!

Some good qualities, but ultimately doesn't work
Positives: Clean and easy install. Looks great and will keep from scratching the front of your phone. (One reason I purchased this is because the front of my phone was starting to show tiny scratches, and this product would be cheaper to replace than the front glass of my phone.)Negatives: The two buttons on the bottom of the screen are finicky at best. Yes, I am holding the phone in my hand as described several times in the instructions here. Because of that, it is very difficult to "train" yourself to use the buttons. Why gesture your thumb or finger there when you never know if it's going to work. Worse is the fact that the protector deadened the touch capacitance of my screen in a few areas. And unfortunately one of those areas is the top corners of the screen. I have to lay my finger flat on the screen rather than tap it, and still I have to push several times (sometimes up to 10) to make it work. So...corners of the screen don't work well and new buttons on the bottom of the protector don't work well so my phone doesn't work well AT ALL. I swore that I read on the description of this product something like "we can't test every product and we know that some won't work flawlessly, so please contact us for a replacement." But now I can't find that information. For this reason, they get two stars and this product's coming off.The only reason I gave it two start is because of how good it looks with the glass coming closer to the edge of the phone than many other protectors. But ultimately it has to go.

""Works with 3D Touch""
Works as advertised. Well almost. It says it works with 3D Touch, and while for most presses it does; the edge of the screen is hindered from registering 3D Touch for some reason, and that's a problem for anyone who uses the 3D Touch swipe gesture to switch between apps; which is probably by far the 3D Touch feature I use the most. The capacitive buttons are neat, although they do fail to register sometimes, and when you try to press the back or cancel buttons like you would normally, it might take a few taps before the screen reads your finger. The edge issue is a biggie for me, probably enough to make me give this protector a couple of days for the hell of it, but I'm probably going to have to rip it off and go for a traditional screen protector, or another glass protector from another distributor. (I should note that I have had several glass screen protectors for my iPhone 6S Plus in the past that have in no way hindered my use of 3D Touch; even from the edge of the screen) At least I only paid $10. My advice, if you in any way use the 3D swipe gesture as much as I use it, probably every time I use my phone, then keep searching.
