Great fan for the G90
I love my G90 but a shortcoming for portable work is the lack of an internal fan or cooling. This unit makes up for that and does an excellent job keeping the radio cool during digital mode work. It is well built and has multiple power jack options. The legs are great for getting the radio at a good viewing angle. Good value. The only thing I wish it had was a power switch for the fan. Otherwise I like it.

Perfect Fit except for Power Cable
Perfect Fit except for Cable to RadioOddity (manufacturer in China), and they are sending me the compatible adapter for the radio. Quality is good and customer service is even better.

The device is keeping my radio cool and has features to reduce power consumption.
The device is keeping my radio cool and has features to reduce power consumption. The Fan goes off during transmit but will come back on during rx or during transmit if the unit starts to warm.I like the swing out feet to tilt the unit up, which is required so that the fan intake is not covered. The manual, however, did not mention the swing out feet and I Initially I thought they feet were missing, not realizing they swang out and came retracted. Also my unit is apparently an updated model as it has a base cover so the fan and circuit board are not exposed as shown in the product description. That is an improvement. The power connection pig tail in the rear has a smaller wire gauge than I prefer. However it is very short and the voltage during transmit is staying above 12V.Over all happy after one day of use.

Solved the over heating and viewing angle problem
I love my G90. Having moved into an apt recently, most of my operation is now mobile. Laying the transceiver on the Picnic table or some box created a viewing problem and cooling problem.I made due with some stuff I had rigged up but decided to purchase something that was commercially made for the job.As soon as I received it, I put it together with the radio and it works great. I am not concerned about any cooling issues going forward. The mounting of the two units is very sturdy and with a slight modification to my portable case I’m off to any park or dash board of my car.

Great!
I bought this from the Amazon returns or the 2nd hand area, but I am really happy with this product. It keeps my G90 running cool and I like the connections. Not wild about the legs, they are thin and not really that stable, but they do the job if you are careful. It arrived, it looked like it was never taken out of the box, it was missing 1 mounting screw but otherwise everything that should be included was. It was in new like condition the fan itself I mean, and I could not tell it had ever been touched still in the plastic. Had the correct manual and the original box. I bought it due the price, I just did not want to spend the cost of a brand-new unit. I think the new price is overpriced considering. That said Totally happy I went with a returned or used unit.

Can cause RFI/ Great customer service response.
Edit: Radiosity did reach out to me with an offer that was more than fair. Since my review was only meant to inform potential customers of a rare flaw, I did not accept.A simple ferrite choke will solve an RFI issue IF you do have one. Please don't let this wonderful company refund the purchase price for something you can solve for a couple of dollars extra (or technically free if you are choke your entire system and buy ferrite bead chokes in bulk.) The folks are wonderful at customer service and sell good products. An occasional, minor QC error should be forgiven."Maybe it is just the one I got, but I had some very high RFI when using the fan. It's a little louder than I would like and makes a great stand despite the RFI issue. It does a great job of keeping the radio cool when needed. This has not been an issue thus far, but I'm told that the radio does get considerably hotter when using digital modes so, I keep my fan just in case.I just recommend some testing if you develop an RFI issue after attaching this fan to your radio. It might just be the fan."

Pretty good, seems like they've fixed some things.
Some people stated the need for a fan grill. They must have updated the design because the metal is cut in such a way that it already has a grill. I've picked it up, and had not problems with my fingers hitting the fan. Also, there is an audible click when you move the legs out and some slight resistance putting them back in so I think they resolved that issue too. What they haven't addressed is the need for a fan switch. I'm assuming you all are ham operators, so soldering a switch in line shouldn't be hard, but that's a hacky fix that should have been addressed in the design, so there's still room for improvement. The design itself seems stout and should last a while. It's definitely convenient to tilt the radio up and keep it cool with a purpose made chassis like this. Overall, I'm happy and it seems like they are constantly working on improving their design, Would buy again
