FretRest by Proline FS100E Folding Electric Guitar Stand

I bought this because I needed something to rest my new guitar on - mostly for display and somewhere to put the guitar when I'm not using it. I was actually quite impressed with it when I first used it. The folding make this rest pretty portable, but also allows it to expand to fit just about any fully electric guitar. It will not work with any guitar that is acoustic or an acoustic hybrid.In general, the rest fits my fender nicely and is light but quite sturdy. There are also protective wraps which keep the guitar away from any potential scratches from the metal. There are also extra caps on the end so it sits sturdy on any surface. I'd recommend it to anyone, especially for the price! I'm modifying this review a couple years later and I still have loved this rest. It still seats the guitar well and there hasn't been any loss of tightness at the joints. The protective surfaces haven't worn down at all either - another big plus.

I like this product so much I bought a second one. It's sturdy and well constructed. It folds up very compact and both stands easily fit into my gear bag with pedals and cables. I rate it four stars because the cradle is right where the output jack is on the side on my guitars. So with a cable plugged in my guitars stand at an angle otherwise it get five stars.

I have been using the same guitar stand with my IbanezSRr505 with good results. So it's been again my choice for my new and heavier BTB bass. Easy to fold, fits anywhere as a small and lightweight pack. Contact with the instrument is well padded and rubber feets give a good grip to the floor.

Us it for my Deering Sierra Banjo and it works great. Rugged.

Great portable compact stand. You want find one better. Does the job, and folds up nicely for the gig bag.

we ordered this for a makeshift stand for an apple monitor and it works great as a stand for this even though it's designed for a guitar.

I play a heavy all maple 6 string bass. This stand is nicely padded and folds up to fit in my gig bag. Very nice

I received an Apple Cinema Display (22 inch) with a broken stand, and the parts to repair it cost almost $200, not to mention the hassle of repairing it. Instead, I looked around online for solutions and found that this stand works perfectly! Not sure how well it works for guitar, but as a monitor stand, I have no complaints!
