It's PU Leather, rather than "cowhide" so whilst it's technically leather, it's not a true leather bag. That being said, it's an excellent way to carry essential items; phone, keys, wallet etc without having to play "which pocket did I put it in...". It's a steal at the price & well worth it.

I was very impressed with this bag but for one thing, the leather. It did not match the image. Instead of the grainy, reddish brown leather I’d ordered it was a dull, boring brown. It didn’t look natural. Pity, as the design and size were perfect for my needs. I have been so tempted to keep it but I can’t get over the look of the leather.
