Rust-Oleum Black Upcycled Furniture Paint in Chalky Finish - Natural Charcoal (BLACK) 750ml

This paint is fantastic. I purchased the graphite colour as you can see from first photo the coverage is fantastic a little went a long way. Covered 14 kitchen cupboard fronts and still had some left over from 750ml tin. Went on darker than hoped but dried much lighter so pleased with the results. Water got splashed on the cupboard under the sink and when dried its left these horrid water marks down the front. I've painted over these again and sprayed all the cupboards with a clear lacquer to seal it and protect it from water marks. Finish is great very happy.

I used this to repaint a bookcase I was up cycling. It is non-toxic and safe to use in places that aren't well ventilated. It has a demi-matte finish, and I covered with a finishing wax to protect it.It's really nice rich colour - my only complaint is that I found some small chips reasonably quickly even with the wax. It might need a longer time to dry than it says on the tin, or a lot longer than it's touch dry before you can start moving furniture around again.

I love DIY and mini projects? This paint never lets me down it’s just good quality, a little expensive but worth every penny. It goes a long way, stored correctly it will last ages. It dried very quickly and leaves and amazing finish!

This is a lovely quality paint, it’s got a smooth texture, a polished finish, it dries quickly and gives a super flat matte look. It came at a good price, it’s bright clean and covered in one coat. A beautiful green blue colour.

If using again, will use a roller as it dried that quick I had brush marks. I'd prepared my surface with sugar soap even though it states you don't need to sand etc, as long as surface is clean you can apply. I did find that until it was waxes the paint could come off easily if knocked. As doing a distressed look I didn't mind so much. Covered grey with antique white and then sanded back the key touch areas.Overall, semi happy with the result (didn't help I was being rushed to complete it). If using a roller I think the result would be smoother. I also didn't sand back between coats, I'd recommend to do this.

Cannot recommend this paint enough! The colour is beautiful, paint dries super fast and is almost odourless. I painted wood, vinyl, plaster and plastic with it, adhered well to all mediums. The paint has a nice finish and looks elegant once dry. Definitely recommend!

Despite sanding and priming my dresser, this paint is flaking off faster than I can deal with. Any knock or tap against anything is making this job a pain in the backside.It’s definitely going to need a sealing topcoat (if it can stay unmanaged long enough) and honestly I wouldn’t use this particular paint again. It looks lovely but isn’t robust at all for furniture that moves or needs assembling
