Works good. Needs reapplication for best result.
I buy this to fill up the sprayer from the same brand that goes to a hose. It does the mixing for you so you just pour it in there and go. I buy this to refill it since it is cheaper for the refill if you already have a sprayer. Or you can mix it with water and use it with a bug sprayer. You have to pull back the label to see the full directions. I have found that it works best if the lawn doesn't get rained on for a few days. Waiting for a dry day will make it have more bang for your buck. Also, it can really take out weeds but it takes several days before you will notice a big difference. I use it whenever I see weeds. Roughly about 4 times per year. My yard has got a lot better since I have been using this for about a decade. You want to put seed down a couple weeks before or after using this. Not at the same time. If you use it when it is too hot it can sort of burn the grass but it hasn't been an extreme problem. It won't kill the grass if you use it as directed. Some weeds it doesn't kill or takes more applications. When you apply it you don't have to do very much. Just spray it on there and wait a week. Then do it again. Putting too much on at once seems to make it not work as good. It also works better if you aerate right before you put it down so that it gets to the roots. Several applications is better than a lot at once. It is a good deal for the price. It works best when used right after cutting the grass.

Does great on small weeds
This kills small weeds and crabgrass seedlings, but it has little to no affect on mature crab grass, which is expected for a chemical like this. If you use it for what it's meant to kill, it works great, but it is not a miracle worker.

Great and effective
The weed killer is awesome. I used it all season last year and it controlled all weeds from growing and killing the existing ones. I did however didn't use this year so I have a variety of those all over. A great wees killer that does not bother the grass, but kills the weeds very effectively. I cut the grass prior to its use and ensure there is no rain in the forecast for at want 24 hours. I used a spray bottle make the mixture, but it was a very tedious exercise so I plan to use a hose spray this time around.

More economical than pre-mixed gallon, but only covers 6300 sq ft
In order for this to work u have to mix it exactly as they specify, any more dilution and it won't work at all. This is more cost effective than buying the premixed gallon sprayers but I wish it would cover a larger area like their other version. 6300 sq ft isn't a lot. You have to mix with water and use a sprayer which is a lot easier than using their hand sprayer. It does require more than one treatment. In one area of heavy weeds, it killed them but they came back after 3 weeks and I had to repeatedly apply 3 times.I had a lot of brambles aka brambleberry (very thorny tall plants with white flowers and fruits like raspberries/blackberries - same family rubus genus and are perennials that are very hard to get rid of since they spread through roots/tubers underground). I sprayed the leaves with this a couple of times and it killed the plants effectively. But be very careful, I made the mistake of not being careful and sprayed the neighboring azaleas and cherry blossom trees and it killed the azalea bush and the leaves in the cherry blossom tree and now turning yellow with holes. I think I may have killed my tree.

Wanted this in the spring
Doesn't work as good late. But this is my preferred.

It definitely works!
I rarely write a review. Crabgrass has just taken over my lawn. There wasn’t a single weed or crabgrass on my lawn in the spring, but once the heat and high humidity hit, the crab grass got out of control. I literally mixed it in a big watering can and watered the crab grass. About three days later I can already see the crab grass dying.

Better than the regular Spectracide weed killer.
I had been trying to kill this purple color yard vine all summer, bought this version of the Spectacide weed killer and it showed positive results in a few hours! I'm happy with the effectiveness and the price! I've bought more to spray the entire yard and have extra on standby for next Spring.
