You will need to select the channel that you want output onto the headphones or select the master output, labelled headphones and both channels will come through your headphones. For each channel, just abov the cross fader is the 2 channel mixers and above them is a button with a headphones logo that will select the channel to out put via your headphones.

The unit has two audio channels: a main stereo channel, for the speakers, and a stereo prelistening channel, for the headphones.
