If this had 10Gbit Ethernet it would be perfect. Can you please make this someday?

10Gb Ethernet would add substantial cost to this devices. It would also make it larger and cooling would become a bigger factor. It's going to be several years before you see docks with that level of networking.

First monitor connected with hdmi to hdmi works fine. 2nd monitor -- connected downstream usb c port with a usb c to hdmi cord. no signal. thoughts?

USB C and Thunderbolt are very different. You have to check the connections. I believe that the second monitor must be Thunderbolt

I don’t think so. This is the answer i got from their website. How many external displays can this dock support and what are the maximum resolutions?
