Excellent bag
When this bag first arrived I wasn't sure it would be large enough to fully replace the tattered bag I have carried for 10 years, but after my first trip with it I realized it was more than up to the task! Though the external dimensions are slightly smaller (which is good), the internal capacity is greater. I packed for a 4 day trip, and had plenty of room for shoes, exercise clothes, and a jacket, all without using the expander. The construction is top notch, making this bag sturdy and light, as well as a smooth roller. One of my criteria was that it have a suiter that I could put my shirts in on the hanger, and I like the way this one slides over the hangers and attaches to the inside of the bag with buckles. It is going to take a little while to get used to the 4 wheels vs. the 2 I have carried for so long, but the stable base they provide when topped with my computer bag is definitely worth it.

Worried about handle
This suitcase worked wonderfully for a trip to europe this week-however the handle does not seen very sturdy-it is wobbly-I probably had too big of an extra bag that I attached to it-I dont believe it is meant for an extra-large carryon bag-so I would reccommend using a smaller additional bag or just a purse if you want to sit it on top of the suitcase for getting through the airport.Next time I will use a backpack as my additional carryon. That said-the suitcase was great for a main carryon-it fit comfortably in all the overhead bins except for the small commuter planez-but you can just check it at the gate and then pickup on way out of the planes.I love the four wheels and they seem sturdy. It was heaven on the back while rushing to clear 30 gates through two very large airports to get our flight.I would reccommend the product-but I feel for the price the handle should be much sturdier than it is because when you are travelling long distances chances are you will need an extra bag and it would be nice to attach to the handle.

Terrible product! Poor quality
Terrible product! Poor quality. On second travel, the wheel and zip broke. No refund except repairs which is 120 miles away from my home. Will never ever buy any product from Victorinox. Will stick to Delsey and Samsonite.

No Suiter. They changed the design!
Seems like a fine bag, but it has no suiter as the other reviews described. I went on the Victorinix website and it looks like they changed the model to no longer include one. Not sure why a business briefcase wouldn't have a suiter, but it doesn't. Other than that I would likely rate this bag highly.

Excellent rolling carry on bag
I used my new Avolve bag for a four day trip this past weekend. It exceeded my expectations! In addition to the Avolve, I looked at Samsonite and Tumi bags. This bag was more expensive than the Samsonite, but much less expensive than the Tumi. The quality of the bag is very high and, after traveling with the bag, it's my opinion the cost is very reasonable.I'm a big guy and wear a size 12 shoe. My biggest challenge with carry on bags for short trips is not having enough room for an extra pair of shoes along with my clothes, etc. This bag easily accommodated one pair of shoes across the bottom, and I could've added a second pair. There are not a lot of pockets inside the case. I actually prefer this as I've never found them to be particularly useful. There is a garment bag that attaches inside the lid. I don't think this would be useful for my clothes. It easily detaches though, and the case is just fine for me without it.The exterior pockets are roomy and well placed. The case expands to allow a little more room, without making the case difficult to place in the overhead bin.I also traveled with my Timbuk2 Commute Messenger which gives me the option of sliding the Timbuk down over the handle. The bag had exceptional mobility with the fully loaded Timbuk on board and I did not experience any issues with the bag tipping. This bag earns its five star rating.

Excellent "Suiter"
I love this suitcase. Durable, easy to roll, plenty of storage and the hanging bag works quite well for two suits. I can only identify two improvements: 1) Include a clear liquids bag 2) Include a cargo net to keep shoes snug when packing light. Both of these suggestions are knit picking to some extent but kept me from giving five stars.I read several reviews and evaluating many suite cases and feel I made the right choice by selecting this one. Excellent choice for business travelers. Highly recommend.

wheel assembly broke off
got it back from baggage claim with wheel assembly cracked and wheel missing. were airline handlers rough with it? probably but it was only 13 months old and now ruined. it didn't feel well made before that ...

Best short-trip carry on for the money
As a frequent traveller I have gone through many pieces, both cheaper and more expensive, and have always had to compromise. Not with this one. This checks off all my requirements:- Top outside pocket for travel documents- Bottom pocket fits reading material/Kindle- front compartment allows easy retrieval of laptop for security checks. Fits a SLIM laptop case with a 13 inch laptop in it (and spec'ed for 17" though who carries that size laptop for business any more?- Suiter to keep business clothing in good shape- maximum interior space for the size- lightweight- well balanced four wheeler which does not feel like it's tipping over every other turn that you make- attach-a-bagand did I say carry-on?With the travel documents and reading material easily available, I've taken to stuffing the laptop case into the front compartment, and traveling door to door with only this bag in had. Once in the hotel, I pull the laptop case out and go straight to meetings. No hassle, no fuss.If I had to nit-pick, I'd say I wish it had a build in TSA combination lock, for those small regional prop planes where I have to check in at the gate. But there is a decent separate lock included for that purpose.Strongly recommended.
