Clean it well, dry completely and then apply. Result: GREAT
Make sure the top is really really clean of all dirt etc. Rinse well and let it dry. If this is not done correctly it's your fault that the top doesn't look like new after three light coats.I put a 4th coat on by spraying a clean rag and wiping to top in multiple directions to evenly spread the coating. I let it dry over night before exposing it to exterior climate. Read instructions. Simple straight forward.Takes time but results are lasting and worth the time.

Convertible fabric spray
Pretty pricey for something that only lasts 2 or 3 times. In heavy rain. It washes off or requires a reapply. Which can essentially go within a few weeks if it’s rainy season. Feel bad for people out west.
