i put sheets of paper in these, and the paper is then protected. from what? hmm... nothing too dangerous like fire, gunshots, laser beams, or volcanic eruptions. but they will probably stop liquid, dust, and wrinkles from making the papers uglier. i like that. they're thick enough for my needs, and nice and clear. a good deal for the price i paid. if you need something like this - get 'em!

Sturdy, great for documents

Both as a student and artist these get the job done! Fits in normal sized binders and holds up pretty well! Easy to see papers in the sleeves too. Doesn't smudge pencil marks. I use these for both assignment papers and artwork (doodles and pages that I want to have a sort of laminated feel without actually being laminated so I can come back to the projects).

These were perfect for keeping my important documents.

A bit tight fitting paper in. I was inserting card stock. These are heavy duty, not flimsy. They will hold up well. Great for protecting photos as well.
