Not new
The item has clearly been used. When you spend this much money on a product, you expect a new product and not some thing that has been used and re-boxed.

Don't waste your time and money
At 300$ a year, it's surely not worth it. I get the same results by monitoring my hunger. When I'm very hungry, I'm burning fat. When I eat a lot, especially carbs I'm storing fat. When I'm ravenous I get a 1. After I eat I'm a 3,4, or 5. You don't need to pay 300 a year to know this.

It doesn’t work the way they advertise it
This thing sucks! It gives totally random measures it changes from one number, you do it again after 2 minutes and it it in the oposite of the measurement. Expensive and completely unreliable

Total scam
This is very expansive device that is interesting at first but when you realize it doesn’t even measure your insulin spikes, which is what contributes to weight gain, the it’s pure garbage. Don’t waste your money on this useless device.

Don't. Just don't.
One of the other reviews called this an expensive random number generator and that's 100% accurate. Even after using this thing for 3 months and allowing it time to "calibrate to my individual metabolism", I was still pulling totally random numbers that didn't make sense from one day to the next. You also need the diaphragm and breath skills of an opera singer to get acceptable readings. If you have asthma you'll likely die trying to get this to work.

A very expensive random number generator
If you need a random number between 1 and 5 and you are willing to spend two minutes breathing into a metal tube to get it, AND that number is worth more than $250, then, boy, have I got a product for you! It's called Lumen, and while it doesn't do anything at all useful in terms of measuring one's metabolism, guiding you to lose weight, or anything, really, fitness-related at all, it does an amazing job of spitting out the first five ordinal numbers at random. And who doesn't want that?Sure, you could ask a kid on the street, "what's a random number between one and five?" But then you would probably have to adopt him or something. Lumen is wayyyyy easier than that. Plus, it has a handy carrying case. And when you put a strange child in a carrying case, they call that kidnapping. So, another point for the Lumen. In closing, Lumen. Yeah. It's expensive. It doesn't do anything at all helpful for your fitness. And it's random. Buy one today!

This tool is a bit premature
I love technology and science when it comes to nutrition and fitness. I've been in the fitness industry for 15 years. I purchased and was excited that it was another tool that would give me information. I does link up with my Google Fit or other smart watch apps. It DOESN'T link with any nutrition apps like MyFitnessPal. So you have to log your day in your normal app and transfer to your Lumen App. I've also been on a Keto based lifestyle for 4 years and I know how to manipulate my diet to kick start my metabolism. Similar to a cheat meal they have Boost Days. The Boost Days are WAY too high in carbs. For the beginner dieter this entire platform is WAY too confusing. I paid $299 directly from the Lumen site with a $50 off coupon. I returned it for a full refund with in the first week. Don't waste you money. It sucked me in but I got my $299 back before the 30 day limit.

I had high hope for this, but no matter what I did I couldn't get it to sink with my iPhone. Very disappointing
