Bought for my horse, who has some arthritis and definite navicular. He had been 100% sound on Previcox for 5 years, but when that was no longer available for horses, and with Equioxx once vastly more expensive (price has recently come down!), I tried him on the MSM, which has been working great for me. It has done absolutely nothing for my horse, even with double-dosing for a few months. Once he became quite lame and no longer rideable, I gave up and went ahead with the (now more reasonably-priced) Equioxx. Bang. One day, and he's sound again. I give the MSM 2 stars not to complain about the product, which probably works fine for some or many horses, but I just want to alert people that it doesn't work for all horses. If your horse is navicular, I strongly suggest going for the Equioxx, or Previcox if you can somehow get it, although there's no legal prescription any longer for the latter for horses. The firacoxibs are miracles drugs, I can attest. But again, while the MSM hasn't worked at all for my horse, the human version has worked very well for me, for mildly arthritic wrists and ankles. (Note: if a horse is given Previcox, they should get 57 mg, while dogs can take the 227 mg dosage. They metabolize differently.) UPDATE a week later: Turns out the Equioxx is not working completely for my horse. My vet recommends to continue double-dosing (one scoop both morning and evening) the MSM in addition to the Equioxx.

Bought it for my puppy's mild giardia(was using this, a probiotic, and DE)... i continue to use it because I'm training her to eventually go on long runs with me. She no longer had giardia and her bones seem good. I am probably going to buy this product again. (My little baby now weighs about 27 pounds, bought this product at the end of July, it is now mid October and I'll probably have to buy more the first week of November, but it lasted a long time)

Best MSM on the market. Bergstrom Nutrition's MSM, the company that makes this is used in scientific studies because of its purity. I have researched them all since I want to give what's best to my dogs. HIghly recommend it. Made in USA, I have confirmed this with the manufacturer.
