The product looks like 8mm and has good adhesiveness feel to it. I can tell the quality is quite good. I give it 3 stars overall based on the jagged edges. Both sides of the short edges aren’t cut clean and visually you can see the jagged lines, so I can’t use it as a straight edge and have to cut off the jagged lines, that means more work. It doesn’t matter if your project doesn’t involve straight lines but mine does.

I use this product on commercial vehicles to protect inspection stickers and mandatory stickers (HUT & IFTA) when they go through pressure washing. We’ve used it for several years and the stickers last through weekly or more frequent washing. Very good product.

Good quality product, did not work well on the bow of my boat where the roller hits it. It just wrinkled it up and made it start coming off. This products is not a protector for for the bow keel, I wanted to see if it would work for this application. It was easy to install and remove when it didn’t work for my experiment. Good product, but not for where something is going to rub hard against it.

I use this to protect my carbon frame from wear and tear. Definitely adda protection and stay on when applied on clean carbon. I used two layers on the chain stay and I totally feel that is enough protection.

If you can't tell where the 3M clear guard is applied it is likely because I chose a smaller thickness and this stuff is plain excellent in transparency. I suggest wrapping under to conceal edges where possible.Areas applied circled in blue.At least it works on my Ford's!GTC Cervini Mustang 2008: Exhaust protected due to low ground clearance. Do not apply to exhaust or near exhaust, for this go with 3M Carbon fiber or have every little crack replaced.
