THE MOST COMFORTABLE SHOES I HAVE EVER OWNED!!
Okay. So I was browsing for some running shoes and these shoes really stood out to me because of how they look. I have never seen any other shoe design where the rubber part is colored, but the top part is white. Very unique, and I always get compliments everywhere I go. Notice what I just said-everywhere I go. I don't wear these just for gym anymore; I wear these EVERYWHERE!You don't need to break them in, either. On the foot, they feel like...well, if you can imagine--what a cat's paw pads would feel like on human feet. The soles have the perfect mix of bounce-back and shock-absorption; that is, they're not too spongy and not too stiff. When I put these shoes on, and stand up, I notice that I always do a little bounce-jump, just because they feel that good. I actually feel like running when I put them on.I wear size 9.5 [mens-american sizing] in dress shoes and sandals so I made sure that I bought size 10.5 in running shoes; they *ARE* running shoes, after all. They are supposed to be snug, sure, and secure on your foot to prevent injury while running [or power-walking]. So, I do recommend that you buy a full size up from your regular shoe size for a comfortable fit. You still may have to adjust the shoestrings a little bit, even after going up a full size, so keep that in mind. These are model Pegasus 37, and they feel like these shoes were custom-made. These are truly white, so they do get dirty after a while, so how do I make them clean and pristine white again, you may ask. Here's a trick I learned growing up in a household full of boys with white shoes:[1] Insert plastic adjustable shoe-stretchers in the dirty shoes;[2] Put each shoe in a white pillowcase and tie it up, tight;[3] Throw them in the washing machine and dryer with all of your other whites. That's it! No special shoe cleaners or shampoos needed. The shoe-stretchers will ensure that the shoe keeps original shape, and the pillowcase-wrapping will keep the colored design from smearing! Try it; it works every time!I loved these shoes so much that, after my first run, I immediately went back on Amazon.com and bought 3 more pairs [in other colors, of course], just because. If you have a job where you required to stand on your feet all day like I do [cashiers/nurses/bartenders, etc.], believe me: your feet will thank you! Trust me, you will forget you are wearing them.

Comfy with Cushion
For comparison, previous pair were Nike Air running shoes until they deflated. Started with a 5k fresh out of the box. They fit as advertised and stayed connected to my feet. The cushion was perfect on cement with enough flex but not unstable. Fabric around the shoe enabled air to flow through and light enough for an easy 5K. Initially, I was worried about the fishtail shaped tongue but I didn’t have any issues. I’d give it 5 stars if the shoe ran for me.

These are old softies
I walk about 3.3 miles (about 5km) to and from the gym and work out there wearing the same pair of sneakers. My previous footwear was a pair of Nike sneakers made of all synthetic materials... very odd, but they lasted forever (almost a decade of on-and-off use!). It was time to replace them when I could feel rocks and pebbles poking through along the walk..I have had good luck with Nike sneakers over the years and these had generally good reviews wherever I looked, and the price was right (around $60 here on Amazon). Sold.I took delivery on about March 19, 2018, and since then I have walked about 177.9 miles give or take (I wear a Polar M600 during exercise so consider the error in measurement from there) as I type this. The terrain has been asphalt, concrete, rocky dirt, and the gym floor. I don't wear them otherwise.Pros:* Comfortable out of the box. They did "break in," but there was no obvious sign of misfit, no rubbing or poking, no stiffness. I did walk on a treadmill for 20 minutes to make sure before I wandered out onto the road, and they were instantly comfortable.* Having had a few different styles of Nike sneakers, I went with a half size larger than that older synthetic pair, and the fit was right on. Considering I didn't try them on first, I think I got lucky, it would have been smarter to try them on somewhere beforehand, as is true with a lot of footwear.Cons:* They loosen during wear. I tie them pretty tight (as an experiment, just short of discomfort two or three times) before I head out to the gym, and less than 1km into the walk I can feel them loosened up. This is at 177 miles of wear, no change. I don't know if this will improve with yet more wear.* There is a plastic heal shape support of some kind that, for the left sneaker, made a loud popping noise when I was putting my foot into the shoe without pulling the back of the shoe... in other words, no shoe horn or similar. I don't know if I damaged the plastic (it still feels the same as the right shoe in my estimation), but now the left makes a clicking noise that I can also feel as I walk. The clicking is most apparent after the walk TO the gym, and it is audible AND physically detectable. It's a distraction and annoying, and of course it nags at me now that I may have damaged them (which would mean they are extremely fragile?).* For reasons I have yet to determine, the left sneaker also makes a squeaking noise during the walk BACK from the gym. NOT to the gym, only on the return trip. Very weird, and something I'll likely ping a footwear researcher I know in Eindhoven about, but here again, I'm wondering what is up with this left shoe!* Finally, they are very soft, and while this means they are very comfortable, I have concerns about their longevity. Since I log my use of them, I will have a pretty good idea down the road (sorry). If I can I'll add some photos of the soles at around 200 miles. The rubber seems rather soft, unlike those synthetics I had previously, and the uppers are very soft, so we'll see.I'll leave it at 3 stars for the moment, and update if the need arises.

Been a while since I've worn a really good running shoe...
As a long time WFH employee, I had gotten in a habit of buying cheaper and cheaper shoes because I wasn't really on my feet on a daily basis. These shoes are reminding me why that is such. A bad idea...These shoes are a performance running shoe but I use them for daily wear and about 3 to 4 walks per week. I can't think of any cons at this point. They are super light but they also provide very good foot support. I feel like the width is just right and the uppers are light but also prevent lateral sliding. Most sneakers that I wore in the past were either light or supportive but not both. It might be because the shoe does seem to fit my foot perfectly. I know that might not be the case for everyone else.I would definitely recommend these, especially since the price won't break the bank.
