There is an option for 60"wx40"dx35"h but the specs and images state 60"wx35"dx35"h. is the correct depth 35" or 40"? if 35" is there any slack?

My loveseat measures approx 37ish inches deep from the middle and the cover fits and then some. I do think there is about 5 inches wiggle room, it probably just depends on the overall size of your furniture frame. Mine has a good amount of slack in all directions. For reference, my furniture at the widest points is 58 in wide, 37.5 in deep and 32 in High.

The outdoor couch we ordered is 85.4" wide. Do you think the 85" cover can stretch the extra 0.4" or should I get the next size up?

The sofa we used this on is 76" so not sure what the answer is for you, but I will say we stopped using this cover because it discolored our cushions. Good Luck.
