Reliable and affordable
I love the way the weight of the rod feels with my rockets. I got one as a gift and ended up loving it, and I got 2 more. The rod has held up its durability with my clumsiness and quick drops. I love the green and black look to them. Definitely getting your money's worth.

Another broken guide ring.
I was looking forward to receiving this one. Already have a reel ready to mount on it. This is a very nice rod, too bad the bottom guide insert came out of the package in several pieces. The frame looks like it took a hit at some point. Amazon needs to use better packaging.Received the replacement today in perfect condition. Rod looks great. Testing it out this weekend.

Nice surf rod
I was a little worried about if this rod was the proper action for what I needed. I wanted something for 20-30 lb braid, and 2 to 4 ounce sinkers while surf fishing with bait. I already have a 12 foot rod that was claimed to be good for that weight but is way too light. This Rod was right on the money.I matched this with a 6000 series Sougayilang spinning reel, 30 lb 9 strands braid and use a 20 foot mono top shot. The rod has great casting ability. The high modulus graphite fiber puts incredible energy into the cast. Used at its max, it easily outcasts my other surf rods by at least 20%.The only downside is that the high distance casting can fling bait off the hook. If the bait is soft (like shelled shrimp), you need to be a little more gentle.I have only used it twice, so can’t speak to durability, but it looks very well made. And I put it to a pretty intense stress test with no issues

Solid Rod
Awesome rod. Only reason I didn’t give it a five is because it doesn’t fit in the canvas bag, that comes with purchase, when reel is on.

Yasssss!!!!!!
I bought this because of the good reviews and DUDE!!!!!! I do 95% of my fishing on the Southern California beaches and Jetty's. This thing is HUGE!! I bought the 15ft purely for comical reasons and I couldn't be happier!!! It doesn't weight but barely 2lbs and has a ton of flex to yeet my bait damn near into Mexico! By far the best $70 I have spent on a fishing pole to date. It's nice, looks to be well built and just feels good in the hand. Don't think about it and just buy it, you won't regret it.

Arrived with Broken Eyes & Sharp Edges
Really disappointed. The inside of eyes through with the fishing line passes are lined with a cheap, brittle plastic. I ordered mine last year but just got the chance to use it the first time (after the return window). I took it to the beach for the first time and 2nd cast my line broke. Realized shortly thereafter that the front 2 eyes had broken, jagged plastic on the inside. The rod looks and feels nice, that first cast was great! But, having owned fishing poles since I was 3 years old, I've -never- had an eye fall apart like that on a brand new rod, let alone 2. I still have antique rods which are serviceable. Very disappointed. I may try filing and smoothing the bare metal (which currently has a sharp edge) to see if can still be used that way.

Rod that feels much higher quality than the price suggests
I always hesitated to buy a surf fishing rod, because I was avoiding the cost. These rods, while my first surf rods, really seem nice. The hand hold is comfortable, feels strong, but agile in the hand and when casting, and looks great. Once I catch something I will report in on the feel
