Great product for alerting the family of door alerts
The doorbell provides a great service to the house. The receivers are of high quality and can be placed anywhere indoors and still syncs to the doorbell when it’s activated. The sound quality is fantastic for the value, and looks very sleek on the door or besides it. Its size is just right and noticeable to oncomers. Battery does indeed not die.

Child's play to install, set up and use.
I ordered the 2 receiver set so I could keep one permanently in the Hall & move the 2nd around as needed.Setting up & installation is child’s play basically because it works straight out the box.All you have to do is plug in the receivers & attach the transmitter. The set I received was already set to highest volume & default “Ding Dong” chime.I did not even try the other sounds.Only grumble here would be the sound does not last more than about 2/3 seconds. It is loud enough for the size of my flat & with a receiver at opposite ends of the flat it’s impossible to mistake.Granted may not meet the needs of people who are hard of hearing. There is a “loud speaker” symbol on the bottom left corner or the receiver with a button on the bottom left side for volume.A “ musical note” symbol on the bottom right hand side indicates location of the tune/chime change button. Easy peasy !!!.The receivers themselves are nice and compact, glossy black with no brand name.A common problem for many buyers is that once plugged in these covered the on/off switch. The one’s in my set do not do this as there is a recess so although they do partly cover the on/off switch they do not prevent switch use.Receivers have a blue light, not very bright in daylight but effective in darkness. Again the only grumble is that the light does not last.I would have preferred the blue light to be on all the time then flash when bell is activated. The reason for the 4 stars is that the transmitter has a very unimpressive small dull green light.not blue as shown in listings, only being on momentarily .So quick in fact that I could not even get a picture of it. Visually the transmitter is also quite sleek looking, glossy black with no branding – looks more expensive than it actually was.A little”please ring bell” sticker is included to bring attention to the bell push.As with many other things the instructions & fitting kit cover more than one model. So the screws/plugs & little driver are to attach transmitters which have batteries. The sticky pads are for the transmitters which do not have batteries. On the back of the transmitter there are 4 ridges to position the adhesive pad.To get it right first time best to draw a straight line on door frame for attaching.Whether it stays working for 50 years like my old battery operated door bell

Great doorbell that does’t require a battery, generates its own electric when pressed.
Good doorbell. I love the fact that it generates its own electric on the button so you don’t have to worry about replacing batteries. Really nice clicking button to press.Came with two plug in chimes which are really useful to place around the house, and the wireless range is brilliant. They both chime at exactly the same time which is cool, and there’s so many different ring tones to choose from.Very easy to install the button. Self adhesive sticky foam back or can be screwed to the wall too. Nice looking modern colour in black colour too.

Great, no frills door bell system
Extremely easy to install, literally just a few minutes. Two chimes, one for ground floor & one for first floor guaranteeing able to hear a visitor at the door. Installed a few weeks ago & so far, so good.Only slight issue is that although the useful, bright, sticky label on the bell push draws visitors’ attention to it, its design suggests pushing the upper half of the device whereas it needs pushing at the bottom to activate the chimes.Great product for those of us who don’t a tech-heavy product!

Great little door bell
Very happy with this doorbell. Easy to install and you can hear in all over the house and even in the garden if your windows are open.

Delivers what is expected but points to note.
I choose this one because I was fed up of trying to buy and fit new batteries into old bell push units after 3 years to find they'd actually stopped working altogether. Plus if I don't need to open it up, it may be more water resistant. Up front I think they will do precisely what we want and they are a good buy, though I've made note of my initial experiences for other people's consideration. The chime units are not too large so fairly inobtrusive where they are plugged in and the black finish looks stylish. The bell push unit is 1.6", (twice as wide as my old one) so make sure you have the width to install it, (if planning to put it on the door frame, the door needs to close without the push unit being an obstruction). The blue LED which is activated when the unit is activated isn't very bright and really needs to be in a darken area to be noticed, though this isn't a deal breaker. Given our push unit is on a white porch door it should be fairly noticeable at night particularly with street lighting.Installation was simple, but the provided instructions are rubbish as they refer to bell push units with batteries and are very minimal. This is something the supplier should fix.Like everyone else I wouldn't trust to take the bell push unit apart to fit with the screws. Other people's comments have suggested options to get around this issue and again the supplier should amend the Amazon write up and supplied instructions. I knew I would be using the double sided tape, (3M and you get 2 pieces, which was good as I messed up the first one). The instructions also don't advise how to change the tune or volume. There are 2 buttons one either side of each of the chime units. The one on the right changes the tune and the one on the left the volume. If you take the units out the plug socket they will return to the default settings.Having said that, I've tried the chime units throughout the house and had no problems with them picking up the push unit's wireless transmission and it is loud so we shouldn't have problems with people saying it wasn't working. The timber of the chimes for me are pretty reasonable, they won't get on our nerves. I've gone for the default chime, some of the musical ones go on a bit and the ones with voices say everything a bit to quickly so you are tempted to keep re-pressing the push unit until you can work out what's being said, so I think they are a novelty that will wear off.
