No not to my knowledge.. it's sugar and a type of chilli powder to rim a glass.. I had it in Mexico on a mango margarita!! Delicious

2 bottles would be quite a lot. Does this stuff have a long shelf life?

Yes mine expired in 2 years. I think that’s plenty of time.

Is it really spicy or the actually candy powder to dip my paleta in??

It's very mild, not really spicy at all. It's more of a candy powder and it's some of the best kind around. Its kind of different from what you might be familiar with such as the original Lucas which used red pepper. This stuff is made from the Guajillo pepper. I eat it with mango and by itself, and I have to say It's some of my favorite Mexican candy.

Where is this coming from?

I know this product from mexico better then anything ive tasted before
