The item is a little flimsy and a bit difficult to attach to my door, though that may be because of my door type. Besides that it does its job but makes me a bit nervous that it wont hold under any real pressure.

It works really well, exactly how it is supposed to. However, it is tricky to remove when opening the door to get out... Instructions are pretty easy (bc I don't read them) Bottom line: Is it worth it, can I work it?Yes; I put the thang down, flip it and reverse it

This door lock works BUT it does not fit any hotel deadbolt I’ve found. I’m in a hotel at least once a week and I haven’t found a deadbolt this will work on. BUT it will work on door handle latch and it WILL keep someone from opening the door. Maintenance tried to enter my room unannounced this prevented them from entering. 4 stars because it works; not 5 because it doesn’t allow the deadbolt to latch.

Ease of use is not universal. My boyfriend and sister both have trouble trying to secure our door with this tool.This is extremely portable and durable so I would definitely recommend purchasing this if you’re on the fence. The price point is reasonable and it provides great peace of mind.
