It works and it's easy - if you pay attention to the specifications and the simple instructions
This is quite a simple design, with simple instructions that you should pay attention to to ensure your curtains, shelves or what have you are properly hung and secure. I have used two of these to install a big ikea vertical shelf on a plasterboard wall that I just couldn't use the studs. It's been two weeks and it hasn't fallen soooo I decided I can trust these now.I have used a couple to install some floating shelves as well and will be using these for a mirror too and whatever else I want to put up that I feel I can't trust just a regular rawlplug. I could've used the red GripIt (that allegedly hold 74kg instead of 71 as this one) but I had this laying around and figured I'm not installing anything that heavy, these should be fine. And they are! Also, this kit is great if you don't have the correct drill bit yet. So yeah, pay attention to the instructions, check if you need a longer screw than the ones provided (in case what you're hanging is too thick for example), make sure your plasterboard is not thicker than the specifications mention and you'll be fine :)

Very good
Was a bit dubious at first. Needed to refit a curtain rail in plasterboard which had damaged the original holes. Worked excellently, strong and easy to fit and a heavy curtain now sits strongly on the bracket. Highly recommend

Good but…
…I think there is a much better alternative.

Easy to install
Very easy to install. I guess only designed for single use and not relocating as central posidrive star tightener breaks easily

Great but a bit flimsy plastic.
Great for holding up holding up coat hooks but pastic snapped with screwdriver quite easy when turning to open. Not as well designed as use to be.

Work Great for Curtain Rails
I have used gripit a lot during my recent DIY projects - if you have a new build house with flimsy plasterboard walls then this product is a must! I have previously used other types of plasterboard raw plugs that have expanding wings but none of them hold as secure as the gripit does. The only thing i don't like is the size of the hole you have to drill in the wall, it's very large compared to normal plugs. You may also need the undercut tool if you have dot and dab walls. When installed they hold well.I hope you found my review helpful

Terrible
Awful, flimsy, simply would not hold and very easily damaged as the yellow part very soft
