Great product, but one of the glass jars broke during shipment
**UPDATE**The seller responded to my inquiry about the damaged item the very same day I wrote the review. I should have given them time to respond. As a result, I've changed my rating from a 3 to a 5. The item isn't eligible for return but they did refund the money for the jar that broke during shipment. I'll continue buying this wonderful honey through Amazon (just for the convenience). As for the honey, it's the best out of all the ones I have reviewed for sweetening up hot beverages. It's creamy and it doesn't affect the taste of the beverage. I hope Breitsamer continues to produce and distribute this product. I've tried some of their other honeys, but the Rapsflower Blossom Honey is the best one from this German brand. The honey comes from the flower of the Rape plant. I remember seeing fields of this yellow flower when we were stationed in England. I knew they made oil (Canola) from the seeds of this plant but didn't know that bees are very attracted to the beautiful yellow blossoms. It has many health benefits. The most popular benefit of all is for the treatment of stomach ulcers (or so they say). I'll continue to purchase it for as long as they have it on Amazon. Especially after the quick response and action taken on my damaged item. I wish I could give them an extra star just for that.****This is a 5 star product. I love it, and can't get enough of it. It's excellent as a sweetener for coffee or tea. It's creamy and delicious! Unfortunately, I have to take 2 stars off in this review because I received damaged goods this time. I recently placed an order for 2 bottles, and 1 was received broken. These are glass jars that are wrapped in bubble wrap. That usually works well but I guess the delivery company must have been rough with the package. Unfortunately, this honey isn't eligible for return. The shipment was fulfilled by Amazon. I've reached out to the seller (REB Distribution) to see if they make exceptions for damaged items. We'll see what happens. If I don't get good news, then this will be the last time I purchase honey in glass jars from Amazon. I'll just go to Publix or Fresh Market to purchase it next time. They sell this brand in the German section of the Ethnic aisle.

Tastes good
I only gave this four stars because of the price. I decided to splurge and try this and although it is yummy, it’s just not meeting my expectations. Good product though.

YUM!
I never tasted honey quite like this before. To look at the jar and see that the honey isn't clear, I'd expect it to be quitesolid but it's not. Once the spoon is in the jar, it's the same consistency as a more liquid honey... This is a very subtle flavor...and I'm used to having strong honey because I often use manuka...but I realized how much I loved this mildhoney flavor...Right off the spoon it was very appealing...I started wondering about the medicinal value of a honey thatdoesn't come from local bees or even from pollen that is familiar to me...I sort of liked that it's from Germany...andit's forest honey...and thinking how unique it is to be able to taste honey from bees who are living clear across the world and collect honey differently....Here's the difference between bees that collect pollen from flowers vs those who collect it from trees... for anyonewho is curious...Key differences between forest and flower honey and forest honeys are rare in N. America...For one, forest honey is less vulnerable to crystallization than regular honey. This is because it has lower glucose levels and a higher mineral content.Forest honey also tends to be darker in color and it isn’t as sweet as flower honey. Flower honeys have such mild flavors that they are easy to substitute for other sweeteners in coffee, tea or virtually any recipe or dish.Forest honeys tend to have stronger, bolder, more distinctive flavors. You may still love them spread on toast, but you may find that they conflict with the other flavors in some of your recipes. Forest honeys are often prized by chefs because of how beautifully they pair with certain foods, especially meats and cheeses.Health benefits of forest honeyHoney, in general, has a number of medicinal uses. It’s a natural source of energy and it helps to strengthen and support your immune system. All forest honeys have high levels of antioxidants, probiotics, vitamins and mineral. They also have greater power against bacteria, viruses and fungi.

Wonderful Flavor!
This is the second order of Breitsamer Honig Rapsflower honey that I am enjoying! Had first purchased one locally but no longer available. I have also recently finished their Golden Selection, using it with peanut butter on toast and enjoyed it too! Don't hesitate, enjoy!
