Good machine !
Bought this maybe two years ago. I thought it was going to be some flimsy light weight machine but it's pretty heavy and held together well. The best feature of their machine is that it is both a stick welder and a mig welder (it has happened were I have ran out of gas and living out of the city it was going take a while to get gas so I flipped the switch and started to stick weld ! ) my package came with the welder , mig gun, stick electrode holder, ground clamp, power adapter, 3 tips, regulator with hose and clamps. All of which were made well and not just some cheap looking/feeling products! No automatic settings , all amp and wire speed must be adjusted with two knobs which display your numbers on a little bright red display . Does have an arc force knob in the center . Everlast does have a neat webpage where I read tons of info about this model .

Good Quality, though obviously Chinese construction
I bought this to upgrade a 135A MIG that had a plastic wire feed assembly that always gave problems, so was quite impressed with quality of Alloy design in the iMIG.A refinement missing in all these low cost units is a knurled wire feed roller, however, so positive feed can be a problem with some wire.It was important that I be able to run from 115VAC, and not so important to be able to use this unit for scratch TIG, though the 160A stick welder capability is great for welding repair on my farm implements (1/4" plate steel). The MTS line didn't meet this criteria..Electronics are excellent, as is the wire feed assembly, but sheet metal enclosure is weak. If damaged in transit (as mine was) there is a bit of repair necessary because the case is not very rigid. A plastic retention nut on primary power was knocked off, the fibre collet to align the MIG gun plug was knocked off, wire access panel was knocked out of alignment (i.e. wouldn't close properly). This was caused by a shipping container that has NO packing material between one side of the unit and the the outer box, so an impact is directly transmitted to the enclosure. In general a good design that with proper shipping containers would look and work beautifully for a reasonable cost, though I still think a knurled wire feed roller is a relatively inexpensive refinement that should be added.

Good MIG welder!
I picked up an Everlast Power IMIG 200 and hear are my impressions. I am not new to MIG welding. Ive been MIG welding for more than 15 years. I needed to weld up some heavy racking and custom trailers for my bikes and ATVs. I picked out the Power IMIG 200 ordered it and it arrived a few days later.I can't say enough about the controls. It has a burn back setting that burns the wire just enough after I let go of the trigger so that the stick out is perfect for the start of the next beed. The feed and voltage controls allow infinite adjustment so that I can get the perfect setting. This thing allows me to put down beeds better than I have ever done. Even on only CO2 I can adjust the settings to get a really clean weld with very little splatter. The inductance control is fantastic and I can dial in more dig or have buttery beeds. This welder is spool gun ready and I picked one up with my order. Wroks great. I've been putting it to good use every day on both steel aluminum and it does not disappoint. Apparently it can stick weld too.Support from sales and support has been top notch. They have always been straight with me on my questions and never appeared to try to sell me something I would not be happy with. Very satisfied with the company and the welder.

My work horse!
This was the first machine I purchased from Everlast. It's turned into the bread winner in my small welding/fab shop. Really it's used just about on a daily basis and has never let me down in just about a year. It welds everything I ask it to weld and does a great job of it. I use it solely for MIG but it can stick weld and has is spool gun ready for those that want to MIG weld aluminum. I've never once hit the duty cycle limit witch is something that happened all the time with entry level big brand welders I've used/owned. If you don't know how annoying that is you will if you buy one of those welders. This is a great machine so don't let the, "it's made in china" crowd scare you away. Well worth it's money and so much more. Very happy and it's made me a bunch of money since I bought it. It's also helped me make some really awesome stuff for my truck, shop, and my home. Like the custom ottoman I made for my living room. Search this welded on you tube and you'll find my videos about it and the things I've built or repaired with it.

... my second Everlast machine and I have had very good luck with them
This is my second Everlast machine and I have had very good luck with them. I would have gone 5 stars it why had a filler for the large spool, not a big and easy to make, but should you have to? I don't use gas, only flux core so a flux nozzle with a smaller OD would be nice too. I have not used this machine on 110 volts so I can't comment on that it does power up on 110. I use and prefer 220 when it is available, but the 110 capability may come in handy too. It burns stick rod nicely all i've used is 7018, but a nice steady arc.

Very happy with the purchase
I upgraded my old arc welder to the Everlast IMIG 200 MIG/stick welder, and I'm very happy with the machine. At the house I can plug the machine into the clothes dryer outlet for 220 volt service, and it also runs well off 110 volt wall power. This makes it very portable, so it travels easily to work locations- in my garage, at a neighbor's to fix a wheelbarrow, a different neighbor's place to fix a lawn mower. The machine comes with a regulator for shielding gas, and I was able to run flux core wire without special drive rolls. The MIG process is easier to learn and gives good results quickly, but this is still a serious machine- I'm pleased it has the wide range of ability to weld from auto body panels to 3/8" steel. Add a TIG torch and it will do DC TIG. And oh yeah, it's a DC stick welder too- compared to AC stick welding on my old transformer machine, the DC arc on the Everlast is so much smoother. Very satisfied with this machine, I'd recommend it to anyone.
