I would like to begin by sharing that this bike is very aesthetically pleasing to the eye. The materials seems to be of good quality, however, all of that is absolutely useless if it’s essentially not functional for its intended purpose. My son has been using it since he was 11 months old and regardless of how he uses it, whether standing or sitting, his feet get caught up in the back wheels which in turn causes him to lose his balance and often times topple over. This has happened several times. This bike is supposed to be a “scoot” bike for 1-3 year olds, and it certainly is not. I have posted a picture of my son on it when he was 11 months old. He is now 15 months and cannot use it. I do not recommend this bike at all! I have tried to make it work and thus now I am past the return window. I definitely don’t trust it at all for outside use. If I could return it I would, because my son hardly used it due to this problem, so it is still in excellent condition. Money wasted. Never again. Buyer beware! You have been warned. Maybe there is a satisfaction guarantee with the company directly? I’m not sure.

Overall good product. Nice wood. Cute color design. Easy to put together, with the exception of a small manufacturing defect in one of the metal bars (had to file down one side).The reason I am giving it 3 stars is because it is smaller than it looks in the picture with the boy. Our son is 15 months and in the 90th percentile, and he is too big for it. He barely has enough room to push with his feet. Since it says 12mo to 3 years, I thought he would have at least 6+ months to use it.

We have this bike and the red rider. Hands down every child that enters my home prefers this over the red rider. My 2.5 year old has been zipping and zooming on this bike since he received it last Christmas at 19 months old! One of the best indoor toys I have ever bought. Receives daily use. The best part is it doesn’t wreck my hardwood floors either! My other children also love it, 8, 5 and 11 months.Edit to add: My fourth also used this bike starting at 14 months. Every chance he gets he is fighting his older brother (who is 19 months older) for his green trike. Still a huge hit in our house and I almost bought another one.I came back to look at this bike for a friend and read the review below (now above). I have four children and tons of children that come over, we just have not had the same issues. This still is our favorite indoor trike 4 years later.

Our daughter started walking a few weeks back and we were looking for a ride for her which is ideal for a beginner. I generally trust “Amazon’s Choice” products more than other comparable items. And we decided to buy this one.This is a good rude for growing kids but I have mixed feeling about it and think it can be further improved.The pros:1. It is made of very good quality word and is very sturdy.2. The color combination of various arts is very attractive and appealing to kids.3. Easy to assemble.4. Easy for kids to ride and go around5. Movement of the wheel axis is smooth and one can ride it for minimum efforts.Cons:1. A little pricey for what you get for 50 bucks.2. The design needs an overhaul as it is not very easy to ride3. The height of the seat should be adjustable (our daughter is taller than average kids and has difficulty in riding this scooter)4. The handle needs to be a little more flexible for turns.In my opinion, it is a very good ride for kids who have started walking. However, it does need some improvements and the price needs to come down a bit.

I wanted to love this because it’s wooden and adorable. That is the extent of my love with this product. 1) it was missing an axel when it arrived. Hape apparently has terrible customer service and are closed THE WEEKS LEADING TO CHRISTMAS for inventory. That is not smart as we weren’t able to receive help from them until mid January. How annoying is that to wait an entire month for one part?! So... we started a return with amazon and were sent another trike that did come with all of its parts. Overall these are also not very sturdy. Even fully tightened they rock a bit too much for the price we paid. The screw that holds the handle on also comes out easily and we have to re-tighten almost every week which is annoying. My last con with this trike is the size. It is very small. We bought this for my twins who were just over a year old at the time and honestly it was already too small. We kept it because it was part of their Christmas gift but to be honest it didn’t last long for us due to poor durability and size. I will include a picture or two for reference. I really was disappointed in this product for the price and I hope this review helps others! There are plenty of other wooden tricycles to choose from AND honestly I will never purchase from Hape again. They had the worst customer service I have ever experienced. Lack of communication, wait time for a simple axel was over one month, and the woman I was in contact with truly did not like her job apparently. I expected more all around!

This is the perfect scooter for a 1-3 year old. When my son was learning to stand/walk, he'd use this as a walker by grabbing the handles and pushing it around. Sometimes he'd push from the back and scoot on his knees. He learned how to get on and off by himself after a year old. Now he can scoot. Pretty soon (When his legs grow a little longer) he'll get the idea and can really go! I'd say your child needs to be closer to 18m size pants for their legs to be long enough to get a good grip to scoot while sitting on the seat.This is in our main room with an open kitchen. The rubber on the wheels keeps it from damaging anything it runs into. A friend brought this outside for his 2 year old to bike in the street and it worked great outside too.Love this!

Das Rad war als Weihnachtsgeschenk für unseren einjährigen Sohn gedacht und er hat auch schön Spass daran. Der Aufbau war relativ einfach, an den Rädern sind so Plastikscheiben, mit denen haben wir doch etwas fummeln müssen um die anzubringen. Schade sind auch die Schraubenköpfe, die auf der Sitzfläche offen sind. Da müssen wir uns noch was einfallen lassen. Ansonsten ist die Farbe wirklick super und endlich mal was anderes als die blau/roten Modelle.

Preis-Leistung nicht ganz gerechtfertigt. Kam mit unschönen Produktionsfehlern(Kratzer, Lack abgeplatzt, schlechter Schliff, kratzige Oberfläche an...). Die Reifen sind auch billigstes Plastikmaterial. Ansonsten ein süßes Baby-Fahrzeug.

Questo quadriciclo è veramente ben fatto..Mio figlio di 2 anni lo adora, ha iniziato a usarlo dai 18 mesi ..non è grandissimo ma fino a 3 anni credo che possa essere utilizzato senza problemi a meno che il bambino non sia altissimo...aiuta a coordinare i movimenti e a mantenere l'equilibrio.Il colore è bellissimo e duraturo..Consigliatissimo
