Must Have for Reef Tanks
I've been in the hobby for about 4 years. Had aquired two clowns in a 30g long and decided if I was going to have salty water, I was going to have real coral, dammit. I bought a bottle of this, KEPT IT IN THE FRIDGE, SHOOK IT UP WELL, and fed it to my tank with frozen brine or misys shrimp about once a week, and my corals (and eventually a rose bubble tip anemone) were thriving and vibrant. The colors were magnificent. Feeding more than once a week made my phosphates high, but the corals would've liked it. I definitely noticed when I ran out and wasn't using this.A few important things:1. Keep it cold and shake it up. It's organicWe don't want to feet our tanks rot that's beensitting out at room temperature. Mine getscrusty around the screw top and needs wipedoff occasionally.2. Turn off your skimmer and filter before youfeed, or you're filtering it back out. Leave off for30-45 minutes.3. Leave the fans on to circulate water anddistribute it everywhere.I find target feeding coral with a turkey baster is easiest. Mix the product with tank water. Curious sweeper tentacles will come out to absorb and feel for solid food. I feed frozen brine or misys shrimp at the same time.P.S. The only other chemicals going in the tank are a calcium carbonate buffer and PURPLE UP. I love pink and purple coralline algae, and have used other products, but that one has delivered the best results for me.

Fantastic, but follow the directions.
Marine Snow is a great way to keep food particles in your water column for your filter feeders and corals. It's nutritious, it stays in the column, and it keeps your aquarium active.Don't just pour this stuff in. It's thick and mucous-like. Dose your tank with it while your powerheads are going and add it right on top of the powerhead, letting the powerhead chop it all up into teeny tiny bits. Your fish like it, your corals like it, your fan worms like it. Even my brittle star seems interested. Every time I dose, the whole aquarium gets active and puts on a wonderful show. This is the gold standard for plankton feeding. There are better, more specialized products, but no matter what else I use, I always, always keep Marine Snow in the routine.

Great food for corals
Not sure what to say exacly about this product. I have had coral for a while now and I was using other (cheaper) foods. I use this along with other foods to provide a variety for the different coral. Since using this product I have noticed deeper more vibrant colors. But I also use a couple of other things so I can't credit 100% of that to this product. It's not good to feed your coral the same thing every time. This item says to be refrigerated unlike some of the compeditors stuff. But I find that refrigerating it helps me count the drips much better so I don't overfeed the tank.

3 months twice per week
I have been using this for 3 months 2 times per week. My tank is stocked with LPS, SPS, Zoa's, Paly's and many other corals. I feed blender mush, cyclopeeze, brine and general fish food. I do turkey baste this stuff direct to my lps and sps along with some vitamin supplements. My LFS is positive about its use although they say it is in a "bottle" and you do need to keep it cold which I understand isnt a substitute for "real live" organisms. One 16 ounce bottle lasts me about 2 months which bothers me a bit since 2 months plus whatever amount of time it was on the shelf might have a negative effect on whatever is in this stuff.
