Werner T7406 Ladder, 6' Length, 25" Width, 9" Height, Orange

We have owned our 10' Werner step ladder since July of 2004. For what I thought might be practicality, I chose this ladder over the 12 foot version. We have used it mainly in finishing the interior of our 15' tall Morton pole building and, in retrospect, could have used the extra 2 feet. Other than that, I am as thrilled as one can be over a step ladder. This is a Cadillac of ladders. It is so solid and well built, it takes most of the fear out of working up high and is especially appreciated when working away from a wall. The steps are broad, wide, and solid, and it extends and locks securely. Even as solidly built as it is, it's still light enough to move quite easily. We also purchased a Werner aluminum extension ladder from a local home improvement store and find it to be of comparable quality. I highly recommend this line of Werner ladders. In my opinion, a slightly larger expenditure for the quality is worth it in consideration of your own safety.Last, but not least...Amazon was awesome on this deal. We received our ladder with slight (cosmetic) shipping damage and were given immediate attention that resulted in our complete satisfaction. Thank you Amazon. We are happy repeat customers!March '07- I just had to update this. We were transporting our ladder in the back of our truck recently when it accidentally fell out onto the pavement. Fortunately, no one was behind us and we retrieved our ladder, secured it with tie-downs, and went on. The ladder was unscathed but for a little scrape in the aluminum top step. It is built TOUGH! I believe my only regret is that I didn't get a taller ladder (the 12 foot) as we've had many occasions that we'd have used it rather than our, much less stable, extension ladder.June 2015- We have had this for over 11 years now and have nothing but good things to say about it. I wish we had one in every size but the need and space aren't there, so we'll just own the ones most practical for us. Still appreciate it's stability when we use it.

Excellent quality. Like the fact you can climb on both sides without having to move it so often. We are older and the fact that it is so sturdy makes us feel safer.We have used this ladder multiply times and each time we like it more. I have fallen off ladders in the past and this is the only ladder I feel safe climbing on againBest ladder ever

The twin step ladder adds to the versatility over a regular step ladder. It allows one to work without having to shift a ladder if you on either side of a beam. The additional steps adds to the sturdiness of the ladder.

I bought this for residential use. It comes delivered as is, and was a bit banned up, with scratches and fades in the fiber glass. The company offered to exchange it, but this is a commercial product, and will last as long as the house is standing. I have 20 foot cathedral ceilings, and needed something to clean, swap out ceilings and fixtures, and help put up my 12 foot Christmas tree each year.

Nice ladder but heavy. You need at least two or maybe three to lift it and move it around.

I have had this for years and use it when I need height and stability, this thing is heavy but solid even for heavyweights. A real iron horse of a ladder.
