So easy to use! Cooks food fast - I’ve been using it every day
I love this air fryer! I don’t know how I managed without one for so long. I was always concerned about counter space but it now has a permanent spot in my kitchen.I think anything smaller than this sized basket is not enough. This is big enough to easily cook meals for 2-4 people.Using it - it pre heats quickly. You can set the time and temperature on the front of the air fryer. Results - Does it come close to food tasting “fried”? Yes and no. For the things I’ve cooked it in so far, it tastes like it was baked and then fried on the outside. This is OK with me as the amount of oil I’ve used has gone down a lot. There are pre set menu options, I have not tried those yet and have picked all the temperatures and times manually. The non stick coating for the basket is great. I have not had anything stick in the air fryer.Foods I’ve cooked:- Chicken wings: wow I can get very close to fried chicken and only need to baste the wings in olive oil. They come out very crispy.- Chicken breasts: very juicy and evenly cooked.- Salmon filets: 8 min cook time and the filets are perfect.- Sweet potato fries: need to soak the piece in water before cooking. You need to do this to get rid of the starch. The first time I did not soak them in water and they came out soggy. The next two time I soaked the sweet potato fries in water for 20-30 min and then air fried them and they came out crispier. Still have not managed to get the deep fried texture.- Flank steak: equivalent to cooking steak on a cast iron. Very juicy.- Brussel sprouts: the crispiest I’ve ever had. I will no longer be making Brussels in a cast iron.- Croissant: did not make them fresh, just reheated some store bought ones. Made the croissant flaky like it was just baked.Don’t think about getting an air fryer, just do it and you’ll appreciate the new possibilities that you can cook.

Amazing... Words can't describe it
I was skeptical of getting an air fryer and more of what the "rave" everyone was talking about... So I decided to see and... I got blown away...My first test, a classic deep fried food, chicken wings... I couldn't believe it... I even tried with the wings still frozen... (Frozen I used 4 extra minutes for those wings you see on that plate)... WOW...2nd test... Regular potatoes and sweet potato fries.... Same thing perfectly cooked... Side note, on the sweet potatoes, i sprayed with cooking oil to add crispiness because there are more dense and retain more water than regular potatoes.I tried also another deep fried food... Breaded jalapeno poppers (frozen), and I've also sprayed with cooking oil (note that I am saying sprayed, not dripping)... Same results... perfectly cooked and crispy...This model is very easy to clean up, it is not messy at all... It came with a recipes booklet as well and for sure I'll be trying them!!My main reason also for choosing this brand and not a different one is because I have been using taotronics products for several years and the quality and support is top of the line, I only had a problem with headphones after a year of using it and their warranty is 18 months, they replaced them without giving me hard time at all. The company stands behind their products and quality as I mentioned before. And yes... I'm an air fryer converted person now!!

The next essential kitchen appliance
When I was hearing about the air fryers, I was skeptical. Why is this any different than a toaster oven with convection fan?One time use of this air fryer and I was sold. Reheat McDonald's nuggets and fries? YES. Sear some steak and finish it in the air fryer in 7 minutes? YES. Crisp vegetables instead of attempting to stir fry on a sad electric stove? YES.Great things I've noticed: my apartment doesn't smell as bad after cooking oily foods. Easy to clean up the device since the splatters are all contained in one area versus all over the stovetop. The nonstick surface makes it easy for the food to wash off. The front panel is simple to navigate to the right setting, and the ones I've tried for chicken and steak have been fairly spot on (plus/minus a few minutes depending on serving size vs reheating items). Good basket size for a decent portion as well. Fits on the countertop and takes up less space than my toaster oven.Would be good to get reheating function instead of the cooking function, but I just take it out a few minutes early and its perfect.

A must for small living spaces... amazing
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. First of all- this fryer is a little larger than I thought, but I'm glad it is. You can feed a family of four with the room this device has inside. I cooked a whole pack of frozen orange chicken, and there was room to spare . For as quiet as this thing is... a moderate hmmmmmm....(See video attached), this fryer sure is powerful. It gets up to the set temperature in about 3 minutes....so much faster than the old oil fryer. There are several pre-programmed settings for various foods, but 99% of the time you are going to just set a temperature and time yourself.. which is super easy with the touch screen. (just like the insta pot ... c'mon.. now you know you never use all those settings..) The nonstick basket is easy to release and take out to shake your food every so often to get an even cook.. and after use.. its just as easy to clean. I've used this device to heat up chicken, frozen burritos/chimichangas, fried, nuggets, and to warm up stale chips (so easy). Overall. I'm very pleased with this purchase as it's well made, can fit a ton of food, and quietly cooks the food to perfection.

Built well, perfect cooking, healthy
My family are big fans of air fryers and can’t imagine our kitchen without one. Seeing this had a near perfect reviews. Decided to get this, mainly to cook a whole chicken. The build and design is great. While it is all plastic, it feels tight and solid. The controls are responsive and easy to follow. The machine has the following features; dehydrate, air broil, air grill, air fry, bake, air sauté and air roast. While these feature may function similar, in certain meals, it can make all the difference. I’ll get to that a little later. Selecting an option from the machine itself, it is pre-programmed. For example, selecting chips, it is set to cooked at 200 degrees. So within reason, you can just follow that and you will mostly be ok. The cookbook that comes with it is nice. Has a lot of ideas to use. But the setting differ from the pre-programmed setting on the machine. In the book, chips is recommended to be cook on 190 degrees.Cooking performance is very very good. Hardly can fault it. Cooked fresh coconut coated prawns perfectly. The coating was crisp and prawns were nice and juicy. Cooked a whole chicken and it also came out perfect. You can pull the bone off with ease. The chips cooked well. We opted to use the book instructions instead. We decided on this because the chips were thick, wanted to ensure it cooked fully. We also cooked lamp, the result was mixed. It was tender but most of the moisture was gone. This is where the cooking feature differ. Initially we used air fry I believe. Second time round we used the air broil. Better result but we feel the oven gave a better result. I will give the lamp one more shot. Try a different technique. That’s really how you need to use this machine. The pre set configuration is a generic guide, not factoring quantity and size of the portion. You need to make that judgement. Trial and error. The size is perfect for a family of 4. Easily cooked a medium sized chicken. Cleaning it is very easy. From experience, never leave the grease to settle over night. Clean it as soon as possible. It will be easier to clean and prolong the life of non-stick layer.

Excellent quality and good value
The TaoTronics Air Fryer is a stylish and multifunctional appliance providing a much healthier way to fry, it can drain excess grease through the frying basket resulting in oil-free meals. It comes equipped with 11 pre-set modes which can be easily selected using the large touch screen interface, with options for fries, chicken, thawing, etc. It’s much bigger than my old fryer which means I can cook for more than just my family of 3, if I have guests and friends round the 5.7L capacity ensures everyone gets fed!Great quality and value for money, would definitely recommend.

Performs well, looks the part and the healthier cooked food tastes great.food
This looks pretty on our kitchen counter. Aesthetically pleasing on the eye, it fits in nicely with our kitchen decor. It's so easy to use with its many preset temperatures for various foods. The makers even provide fifty different recipes to try.Nowadays, more and more people seem to be more careful about what they eat and how they cook it. Using minimal or zero oil in this fryer is the answer for us.We've tried cooking a wide range of foods in it and I must say I'm converted to cooking more healthily after having tasted the flavoursome food which comes out of this. Of course, I still like my chips so I can now cook them in this and not feel body guilt. I find that shaking the chips midway through ensures they cook evenly and crispy. The tray basket thing is very big so a lot can be put in.Being non stick also helps in cleaning it after use and I find it is quite easy to clean. So far, it's performing very well and we all love it and the food that comes out of it.I think we paid a fair price for it and think it's very good value. A quality air fryer and I have recommended it to our relations.

Very stylish and modern looking and cooks food perfectly!
A fantastic device for improving your lifestyle and making more enjoyable food. I've recently been told by my Doctor I really need to make serious lifestyle improvements for the benefit of my health and the TaoTronics air fryer is a great way to do so without cutting out the foods I love.It uses a fraction of the oil, has preset modes to help me in the cooking process but most importantly for me it creates fantastic crispy food, especially the chips / fries. I often find oven cooked chips are crispy on the outside and hard on the inside, or alternatively soggy. The air fryer seems to cook perfect chips every time. Fluffy inside and crunchy outside. It's great for other foods such as chicken, steak and even making a healthy breakfast. Bacon and even egg comes out perfectly in this.Overall really happy with the device and feels its a great way to improve my diet without completely removing the foods I enjoy.

Well designed and delicious healthy food
After great experiences with our own airfryer, I have been considering buying one for my folks for sometime now. It is perfect for them as only 2 persons to feed and much more energy efficient and healthy compared to frying. After researching quite a few fryers I decided to go ahead and purchase this one. After some uses the feedback from my parents is positive. It works just like a mini oven crossed with a fryer. The quality of the food is great and very crispy. The digital touch screen display is easy to use with preset modes to help with the fast cooking process.Prior to lockdown we would quite often visit and have a family meal. We are looking forward to being able to meet up with them inside for meals and see what they can cook with it. This airfryer is big enough for large gatherings. The cooking times are also much faster than conventional ovens. The large basket capacity is a good size and enough for a family mNo oil is required or if preferred just a drop is adequate. It's super easy to clean and also dishwasher friendly.Found this to be great value for money.
