NEW for 2015, the Bridgestone Golf e5 features aerodynamic improvement with a new 326 Web Dimple Pattern with Dual Dimples for a more penetrating ball flight. The tried and true 2-piece design offers maximum distance with Tour caliber green side spin and feel. Look no further than the 2015 e5 when choosing a 2-piece distance ball with a Urethane cover.

Like many other people
Like many other people, I read golf ball reviews to determine which golf ball will work best for me at a decent price. My handicap index is 13. I don't have the skill to spin the ball on the green on command but I like knowing that I could do so if I use the right ball and hit it correctly. I used to play the TaylorMade Penta golf ball when they still sold them and you could buy them at a decent price. But I now play the Bridgestone E5 because it is readily available, has a Urethane cover and a softer feel like the Penta and is priced decently.

Great ball for a bogey golfer!
I've been playing E5's for a month now and I'm loving the feel and spin I'm getting with my wedges. I like the high flight with my irons and I'm not seeing any distance difference with my driver. Great ball for a bogey golfer and I'm not complaining about the price either!

Bridgestone E5 Golf Ball
I think this is the best golf ball to play. It performs with distance and stops with the urethane cover. It is a shame that Bridgestone is not making it anymore...I will have to find another golf ball to play.

Soft feel, good flight characteristics, some additional loft
These balls feel soft when struck, but fly like eagles when struck well. Unfortunately they will still sink when landed in water. :) Great golf balls and prompt shipping from Amazon. Another advantage to buying from Amazon... you will not be tempted by the shiniest new golf club like you might in a regular store!

You'll Love These White Balls
I love these white balls from Bridgestone. Soft enough to get some spin on the ball, hard enough for the drive. This ball is good for those who hit low off the drive and want more more height on the ball.

Right feel for my game at the right price
Good price and balls fit my senior swing speed well. As with most golf equipment, you have to try a few different types before finding what feels good to you - these have the right feel for my game.

They fly and roll.
They find the ruff, woods, sand traps and water as well as any golf ball!!

Great for the short game...
Good feel and good performance with a great price. The urethane cover (unique to the e5 in the Bridgestone e-series balls) was one reason I bought these. Try to find another ball in this price range with a urethane cover - I don't think that you will. I was not disappointed; short-game performance and feel was great. The cover contributed to higher spin rates on approach shots, evident by the back-spin induced stopping / green holding of these balls. I personally do not find a big difference in golf balls off of the tee, so the e5s were also fine there for me. As for the short game, I prefer these to the Wilson Staff Duo Spin, which has gone up significantly in price and is made in Taiwan. These are US made, feel great, and priced right.
