Pretty Decent Monitors!
OK, keep your expectations in check here. These are inexpensive nearfield monitors, and I wouldn't recommend them for a real project studio or above (as in if you're recording a band, doing mastering, etc.). But for my "Studio C" - used for product development, engineering, testing, and etc., they are just fine, perhaps for the simple reason that I didn't have space for larger monitors in this location. Nonetheless, sound quality is very good, as is imaging, and they actually had too much bass in the center EQ position (on the back) - having to reduce the bass on such tiny woofers was surprising. I also boosted the treble a little, which suits my ears. Anyway, nice monitors for the price. If you need larger nearfield monitors, I would consider the next models up in this line. For "real" monitors, though, you're looking at many times the price, and such may be required (I use JBLs, Yamahas, and Tannoys for this case - again a lot more bucks involved). But for the price of a decent PC-class speaker set, you could do much worse than the BX4s. I know, I've tried.BTW - nicely packaged! Double boxed, great packing, and the required cables are included.

Works well for my situation
As I am more formally building out my video editing suite, I wanted something more than computer speakers but wasn’t completely sold on the need for going over the top right now. I have taken over a small bedroom in my house and knew that my larger speakers that were in my office space would not be appropriate for this sized room. The M-Audio speakers work well and are clear and capable for listening to audio near field and across the room. No issues. Easy to setup with the convenience of being able to switch which side the master speaker is on. I specifically was not looking for Bluetooth speakers as the radio delay is problematic when editing video or even weirder, the line input of several speakers that I had tried in the past had a delay with Bluetooth enabled speakers!? Still scratching my head on that. These are great for not breaking the bank and getting good quality sound without all the whizz bang extras.

Amazing Sound Quality with Impressive Bass
The sound quality is really good, and they also have a comfortable size. I’m truly surprised by the bass; I was expecting less, and they have exceeded my expectations.

Excellent speakers for computer gaming & music - aux input has shortcomings
I've been using the M-Audio AV40 speakers for 12 years, until one of the power out capacitors leaked all over the pcb. So, this set has a lot more power, and has bluetooth. What's not to like? They sound great, and have really more audio out power than you'd ever want for a computer. Pairing it with my phone's bluetooth was easy-peasie. These are, by far, the best sounding speakers for the money (that I've found). I also really like the hard plastic front, rather than the cool-looking cloth fronts that get scratched up and dirty so fast.UPDATE: After using the front-mounted Auxiliary input for a mono radio, the speakers don't work properly. Somehow the signal coming in that input messes up the internal circuitry. Amazon replaced them, fortunately, and I will get a separate speaker for my ham radio.

Great in my small studio!
I bought 2 of these when I was building a small home studio in my bedroom and these monitors are perfect. I like the fact that you can adjust the bass response and have volume control on the speakers. They're very easy to set up and are ready to go straight out of the box.

Nice speakers
I dig the size and quality of sound. I use to have krk 6 inch which I loved but my house burned down. These were decent priced and didn't want anything smaller or cheaper. I've always liked this brand too. Quality musical equipment

Awesome speakers but bad cables and more…
The speakers are awesome. They are loud and clear. I love the multiple inputs, especially the BALANCED 1/4” TBS jacks and the low profile look. They are priced high but these are powerful studio speakers, far more powerful than others priced in this range. The chief complaint is with the cables. These should not have been provided with the unit. The 3.5 to 3.5 plug when connected to a computer with a metal chassis like my Dell Inspiron 3 in 1 will generate a loud buzz due to a ground fault somewhere. A better grounded cable will eliminate this but these are STUDIO speakers requiring a balanced connection. I attached a Bluetooth adapter to this using the RCA plugs and the cheap RCA cable provided and the sound was crystal clear and flawless only because BT avoids ground issues. These cheap RCA cables would produce equally bad buzz and ground issues if plugged directly into the computer jack. REMEMBER THESE ARE STUDIO MONITORS not traditional desktop speakers. You SHOULD BE USING only quality 1/4 inch TBS to 1/4 inch TBS cables running this to an audio interface like the M-Audio M-Track Duo or Solo. The reason for this is to establish a “BALANCED” vs the “UNBALANCED” connection. Anyone complaining of hum or buzz should connect using ONLY the balanced method since balanced connections eliminate hum and interference by nature of the balanced architecture. If you plan to use a DAW for professional audio use, these speakers are designed for this purpose because of the “balanced” option not available with simple desktop speakers. So ditch the 3.5 to 3,5 cable, use the RCA plug only with a BT adaptor and install a 1/4” TBS cable to an audio interface for impeccable sound quality.
