Beautiful
This is a beautiful pizza peel, large, thin yet very sturdy, even dishwasher safe. The problem with other wood peels is the need to oil them to prevent cracking and splintering, and there is no such requirement for the Epicurious peel. This should last a lifetime, an excellent buy.

Game Changer for Homemade Pizza Bakers!
I rarely write reviews, but this peel is a game changer. I've been making homemade pizza for over 30 years, and this peel takes it to a whole new level. The flexibility and smoothness are perfect! Sprinkle with a bit of flour, build your pizza on the peel and slide it easily onto your stone in the over. Best pizza tool EVER!

Wow it's thin... and smells...
Update: The smell finally went away and it seems to be holding up OK. I have a quite sharp, metal pizza cutter and it doesn't damage it. Upped to 4 stars.I have an Epicurian cutting board that I've had for years and it's performed well so I thought I'd give this pizza peel a try. My main reason for going with this over an ordinary wooden one was that I wanted something I could cut the pizza on instead of transferring it to a cutting board first.First impressions, wow it's thin, noticeably thinner than my Epicurean cutting board. Yes, you don't want a big, thick pizza peel, but this is so thin that it flexes at the handle when you pick it up even without anything on it. The smell. I washed it thoroughly after I peeled the label off and was like ugh what is that smell? It smells like when you walk into the tire store. I am really hoping it dissipates soon. I don't remember my cutting board smelling like that.It also just occurred to me that Epicurean says their products are rated to 350 degrees. Most people cook their pizza between 450-500 degrees. Obviously I know you don't leave the peel in the oven but I'm concerned about what it will like after prolonged use.Against my better judgement, I'm going to keep it and hope the smell goes away and it holds up (and the handle doesn't snap off). I'll adjust my review if necessary after I've had a while to test it out.

Roccbox
These are phenomenal! I use these for loading into my Gozney Roccbox oven. FAR SUPERIOR to the metal one that comes with it. We cut our pizza on these and use them as plates too. These are super thin and work amazing, just buy them, you'll love them!

Game changer
Love pizza. The ninja turtles would enjoy this. Better than feeling the heat on your dumb hands reaching into the oven. Seems to be made well, it was a Father’s Day gift. Seems my Dad has dropped it maybe? Has a chip already. Still works. It’s a night light. See how it works out. The size is good, I like the hole for hanging.

Thin lightweight peel, good for launching
Got this peel primarily for building and launching pizza. Wanted wood because metal sticks to uncooked dough too much. Haven't had any issues with sticking using this peel as long as dough is well floured. Also can use cornstarch or 0 flour to help dough slide off. Peel is lightweight so easy to maneuver. Much easier to launch than the thicker wood peels made of acacia, etc. Peel is thin enough that you could also use it to remove pizza from oven, but the peel will burn on the bottom where it touches pizza stone (experience from ooni koda 16 which gets to 900F). Because of this would use a metal peel to remove pizza instead. Overall this peel easy to clean. Seems to be made from similar composite material as their cutting boards.
