Set of 5 Oysters with Pearl in Can Party Favors

So much fun.....We loved them.

THE PEARLS LOOK SO WEIRD AND NOT ROUND. NOT TOO SURE IF THESE ARE REAL OR FAKE. I DO KNOW THAT I HAVE PURCHASE FROM A DIFFERENT COMPANY FROM THE PAST AND THE PEARLS WERE ROUND

To the comment that the pearls weren't round and oddly shaped, that is because, (and it is clearly stated) that they are fresh water pearls which produce various shapes. Which is pretty cool to me. Even tear drop shaped! Akoya oysters produce the guaranteed round ones you usually see with jewely.

These were great! All of ours were round pearls. I bought them for my daughters birthday party, and the kids not only learned something cool, they got to take home a beautiful pearl made from an oyster. (Tho none of them wanted to throw away the oyster shell, so I guess you could say the whole thing was a hit.)

I don't know who's writing these reviews but these things aren't worth the postage. Tiny, no luster "pearls" and the oyster is pretty much already opened. Glad I didn't use them as party favors.

Just so you understand before buying. These pearls were placed in the dead mollusks and then a dangerous chemical is added to make the animal's muscle close. You are buying commercial grade pearls not something you will want to wear. Freshwater pearls come in limited colors you may want to do research before buying. Most all pearl parties sell this same type of set up but pearl parties generally will open Akoya salt water shells with freshwater pearls placed inside. BTW, Black pearls if you are unlucky enough to get one is dyed and the most worthless.

They are not round and look fake the oyster looked like it had already been opened my pearl fell right out I will never buy or recommend this Company again!
